  • This video details all of the components that I use in our Waldorf Kindergarten Homeschool. I explain the purpose of circle time, the different songs and finger plays, I break down which elements change on a monthly basis and which elements are permanent, and I also share my resources.
In addition, I have an entire blog post written on my website that also provides this information if you’re interested in the written version.

This sounds lovely! We do ‘morning time’ over breakfast, and I’m trying to find ways to make it easier to implement (we use a Charlotte Mason approach) and I love some of these ideas! I’m going to have to do some more digging. Thank you!

Thank you so much! It definitely took us some time to figure out our daily rhythm and what works best. I love the idea of doing “morning time” with breakfast. It’s all about connection and finding those moments because that’s what matters most! Let me know if you have any questions or ideas - I always love to collaborate!

Thank you so much for this video, Kate! I was searching for something exactly like this as I am trying to implement the morning circle into our daily rythm (my daughter is 4 and my son is half a year old). I love how concrete you are in describing what you do. It is super helpful :) I just need to find some good source of seasonal poems in our language, there's not much of waldorf stuff availible for public in czech.

I’m so glad you found this helpful! If you’re struggling to find Waldorf resources in Czech, you can absolutely use traditional nursery rhymes and fingerplays. For storytime, we traditionally use Grimm’s fairytales which you can hopefully find in Czech! I’ll do some digging and see if I can find anything additional for you.
