I am an ecclectic homeschooler, but I LOVE Waldorf fluff. Waldorf toys, manipulatives, peg dolls, play silks, form drawing, main lesson books, unit studies, teaching through stories and handwork are all things we have taken from Waldorf and use in our homeschool.

This was the first video I have watched about Waldorf in the home. I would have appreciated some understanding of the philosophy sprinkled in this video as well to understand the purpose of fluff or general educational philosophy in a home setting. Do you have other videos that go a bit deeper to provide context?

Is there a reason you have to replace Crayola, for example, with specific brands? I understand quality but I feel you could get similar results from a variety of sources? I'm just trying to learn the 'why' behind specific brands
In Waldorf Education we recommend specific block crayons and stick beeswax crayons. It's not a must to homeschool. They are high quality tools to create meaningful art with the child.
