I’m playing on an electric piano and when I play the left hand part on part 1 it sounds super deep. And I’m not sure if it’s because I’m playing on a electric piano or if I need to tune it. The electric piano I’m playing on is a Casio CTK-2080 61. So who ever has this or I guess know about it plzzzz help me

if you guys are having trouble with part 2, when hes playing the whole thing go onto the playback speed and put it at 0.25, once u get the hang of it go to 0.5 and then 0.75. it really helped me

I just wanna say to everyone.. please don’t give up! It doesn’t have to be in the same day...I love the piano in I’m trying my best! I’m teaching myself and I can’t even read notes! I learned 2 songs...1 is amelie...and the second is I giorni... it took me a month for each song! Please just know it doesn’t take 1 day and it’s easier when you play it slowly...pause the video and try and remember how to do it! Good luck to everyone! And I also almost gave up! I think this is the best tutorial I've found yet. I'm a complete beginner with playing piano, and am really wanting to learn. I know this is a nice piece to start with because it's beautiful, not boring, and yet not horribly hard. Thank you for this tutorial.

Literally never touched a piano before but for my New Years resolution I decided to learn and so I ordered a digital piano and thought I’d start with this video as I’ve always wanted to play this song! I am 4 days in and I can play up to part 3 almost perfectly! I never thought I would actually be able to play this so thank you so much!!

This is an amazing tutorial. I haven’t played a piano for at least 20 years. I used to play by ear as a child. I can play through part 4 after 3 days of practicing. This is a beautiful song and I knew this is what I wanted to learn first. You’re a great teacher!
Honestly, I don’t know how much I can possibly thank u. I’ve always lived this song, and I was like to my sister, imagine I am okay it whenever I wanted to. We have a keyboard at home and I so far learnt more than half way through the video. Now, the amazing thing is that I have never in my life played an actual song with piano in my life. This is the first ever song I’m learning, and I can say so myself that I am pretty good but I wasn’t at first. Because practise makes perfect. And for anyone out there that is willing to play this song, u can do it, I believe in u. Just keep trying and trying and never give up!

As an absolute beginner, this tutorial guides me through each step in a very comprehensive way. I already managed to learn PT1 and PT2 in a matter of +/- 10hrs..

My Story:
I really wanted to learn this song at first but, I didn't know the name at first.
My life was ruined until, my piano class had a performance and I listened carefully for the songs name
I finally get to listen to my dream song again it was so emotional it was even played perfectly!
I went to yt and searched River Flows in You but when I listened to it I thought it was impossible.
I ended up finding this *amazing* video! It was worth it, he taught amazingly and fun I used to not like piano class but now, this video changed *everything*
I watched this videoing paused a little. The beginning was easy to me even though my parents said I was a bad piano player, but then when I discovered the the hard part I *quit*
Since I quit I still wanted to learn it, I started watching some yt vids that were the ones that just turn the song slow and used the piano apps or something. For some reason it actually *did* help, it boosted my courage a lot to go back to this video.
Once I found this video again knowing more about this song I used this for minor deatails.
My hands were still to small for one part, the main part but I found my own way of playing it.
Now I'll practice this song everyday feeling good about myself I'm even trying to sing the lyrics,
I love the creativity for this song it's peaceful themed to relax yourself, the song even made my body warmer in positivity.

Anyways, if anyone here is confused by “interpretation”, it’s just that the composer “Yiruma” didn’t make a fixed/set way to play. There are multiple ways to play River Flows in You

For part 2 I would recommend playing it by ear. It’s tricky, so mess with the keys until it sounds right. Also, try pausing the video and writing down the keys for each troubling part, then keep practicing that until you get it. Practice makes perfect. Hope this helps! 😊
