What you’re doing is teaching those who can’t afford to learn this instrument with a live teacher. Those who were able to learn even 50% of what you taught online, I’m sure they made themselves feel good and motivated with what they could achieve in life. You’re an angel! We are blessed to have you on this planet 🌎
Their version of the song is also very helpful. I have 2005, 2011, and a recent version of the song by the author in multiple books. I favor the Pianote version for simplicity and not overdoing the repetitiveness. Nice dynamics and rolls too. If it’s first time learning this is good one to do. Also, does she go to other planets? Lol.
I play piano for a year now.People always told me that I should go to the music school, but I never wanted.I saw how my friends hate music schools and didin't like what teachers forced them to play.I maybe don't know every note, and all about music teory but I play and I enjoy it.I love what I play, the way I learn it, and I know "story' behind every piece I learn.I don't play anything because someone told me I must, but because I love it.Freedom and creativity are most important in music i thing and Pianote is really helpfull for me🥰
@Andjela you are so right. My 9year old son shares your opinion on this. He followed 6 lessons, absolutely hated it and now that he has quit the lessons, he´s the most happy person 😄 teaching himself the songs that he likes, not the one the "teacher" likes
I'm playing piano for a little bit more than one year, started teaching myself, in March 2021 started taking lessons, what I like, we do theory and other stuff, but the most things we play, are pieces that I choose. I think that makes a lot of difference. I think taking lessons is great, in this way!
God bless you for posting this up. My sister passed away 2 weeks ago and this was her favorite song to play on the piano. I promise my other sisters that I'll learn to play this song so there's always someone playing this at home.
Simply a happy , energetic and encouraging teacher . I have your book … love it … my piano playing has improved tremendously in the last 3 months … I’m an adult going back to piano .. I’m loving it 🎹
Lisa, another very good practice.😊 I love employing the nuances, rubato, staccato, crescendos. I shall continue practicing piano, along with Tenor Sax.😊
at first I always messed up the keys and trying to give up but when I skipped to the last part of your vid I feel encourage and try to do it again and now I feel comfortable and keep practicing.
I think the piece is very peaceful and relaxing. I'd love to learn to play this to my restless grandsons (3yr and 9mths) to help them sleep. It's beautiful, thank you!
I forgot to comment this, but with your energetic and enthusiastic way of teaching and help. I somehow got to learn this beautiful piece around (June) for my relatives' birthday, within just 10 days in total. And I was extremely touched, grateful, and motivated by your words and impressive way of teaching 🙏💗 !!
Hi hello i am happy to visit your chanell i am very thankful for the pdf so i can learn the pieces much better god bless you all keep posting more videos like these
Yes! :-) Great speech, Lisa. It is a journey and we need to enjoy the process. Depending what level you are at the ornaments might be tricky for beginners, tho. Happy musicmaking!

Thank you, I absolutely love this tune & will give it my best to learn it. Can I ask what software you use that plays the notes above your piano as I would find it really helpful. Thanks again.
Thank you so much for this lesson Lisa, I love this piece but it is seriously challenging so I really needed these pointers. May I suggest a similar lesson on Giorni Dispari by Einaudi? I’ve recently started studying that one and it is equally beautiful! And challenging too 😘
This is incredible ! I juste wondered a few days ago if you had done a tutorial for this amazing song. And there your did it ✨🙏🏻 !! Thanks a lot and my greatest apologies for my weird english (I'm french)
Hey Lisa, this piece is so beautiful. It makes me feel sweet melancholy. I was wondering if the sheet music you had under the tutorial is available to print. Thanks for all you amazing videos and gracious music making.
I really really struggle to play the bit where it goes back and forth from A to higher A with the right hand. My hand just goes all tense and after a while it hurts and i don't know how to relax it, i feel like i need longer fingers to reach easier :( I am getting so much better at everything else about this song...well whole song besides those notes...or any that are that wide apart :((
Mam can u suggest me what to do, as I've left piano for over 7 years and i wanna regain the flow of it . Can u suggest me of what I should start up with again, as I left it when I was in stardard 3 in grade 2. It made me regret my decision back then for abandoning Piano over the years 😥. I'm looking forward for your reply. Thanking you in advance ❤️ yours faithfully subscriber.
actually fur elise is a very complex piece (for beginners specially). What we all know and what we all play is only, maybe 10-20% (only the easy portion) of what the whole piece actually is. That's what makes us think that's it's easy (because only the initial part of the song is and most people think that that's the entire piece) but to be able to play the entire song isn't an easy task. Also, I think hardly anybody learns to play the entire piece.
@@biswajit07 hands up here. 🖐️ I did, but then I'm old and had very traditional classical piano lessons as a child, no half measures. If you wanted to play Für Elise you learnt the whole piece! You're right it definitely gets complicated and you really need to understand what I call semi-quavers but Lisa called some fraction or other which I can't remember 😂... Sixteenth notes possibly? Yes a minim is a half note, a crotchet is a quarter note, a quaver is an eighth note... The only problem I have with that numbering system is that it makes a semi-breve the whole note... Which as you can tell by its old name, it isn't because there is a note called a breve. Admittedly you rarely see it but can still find it in some choral works so it's good to know of its existence. It looks like your "whole note" but has two bars or brackets on each of its sides.

She is so relatable. Even I learnt this song completely by ear and now I'm struggling to play it 100% accurate using the staff notes.

Which part is repeated between bar 21-24? Im confused because so much of this song sounds so similar
Could you please do Little do you know by Alex and Sierra, I think it would be great for a beginner like me. This see quite advanced

You sound like my flute teacher :o
At 4.56 is it a C or E played with the thumb on right hand??? I'm confused
That was awesome Pianote your a great teacher, your ever so sweet ( n so pretty🌹). Can you do Nightbirds pretty please🤗
puttin it on the list!!
In what year were the notes of this melody created and who created it?
The "forbidden riff" for piano stores.
That's E/G# is actually e b g# so that chord symbol is wrong
Thank you!!!
Hi can you share the music sheet. 😊😊

I needs better piano . What brand should I get?

She has vids on that
At 4:42 her left thumb plays E, but at 4:57 her left thumb plays D. Im pretty sure this was an accident
either chord is fine. they both sound acceptable - whatever is more comfortable for you
‘River Flows in You’ by Yiruma has nearly become the ‘Für Elise’ of the 21st century.
Great words, I like it!!!
It’s everywhere and I’m not even tired of it :p
Yes it's very reminiscent of Für Elise, so glad someone else thought that too!
Nicely said.
