I really like your channel, you have so much info on JP Artist and Bands, I discovered your channel from the Ado video! I really like RADWIMPS, their music in Your Name, which my friend introduced to me, really got me into anime and jp music.

Something i have noticed after watching many radwimps performances is how Noda Yojiro's voice has gotten deeper. Because of his deeper voice he sometimes sings some songs in a different way. An example is during the Oshakashama chorus (Its very clear if you compare the Zettain Enmei tour performance from 2011 to the 15th anniversary live in 2020 . I personally prefer his higher voice, but his voice rn is also amazing.

I'm a high school student and when I picked to play a simple music called Date from "Your Name" in the keybored class, I realized how good the music was even if it's a beginnger sheet.

I had only listened to one song from Radwimps and from the amount of songs showcased in this video, I have a good amount of songs to check out! Great video as always, keep up the amazing work!
I think my appreciation for J-rock is that there's just so much out there to listen to, I've found some of my favourite songs from artists that I would consider Underrated
My personal Favourite J-rock band has to be 7th Jet Balloon, they're a band of 2 guys, a drummer and a guitarist/vocalist and their music is some of my favourite in J-rock. Grand Slam is probably my favourite song from them and my favourite song in general.
I would also like to Recommend Haku. and Shi-No-Efuhi, They both also made some amazing songs that have stuck with me

Ever since I started branching out in finding music, I have hundreds of artists that I can listen to, it's great, My 2024 playlist, which has songs only made in 2024, alone has 600+ songs, and I think my future playlists will only grow larger. It honestly surprised me how much music you can find out there, I highly recommend anyone to go searching and branch out, cause you'll find a lot of hidden gems :)

@@goosebumpsradio I think youtube has this system in their recommended that recommends more videos/songs within the similar criteria, since I tend to get more songs in my recommended that don't have as much views. Albeit there are still a lot of songs that are mainstream, but it tends to lead me down rabbitholes with artists that are barely known.
I don't know if it will be the same for everyone but this is how I tend to go about finding songs. Although I am subbed to a good amount of them so maybe that's why youtube is giving me so many recommendations of more artists with more obscurity.

Good idea, I'll make a new RUclips account and sub to my fav artists. Spotify has been awful with recommending new songs this year

U might missed it in this video, but Kuwa actually went on hiatus for quite some time (I think it's from late 2021 to the mid 2022) because of his cheating scandal. He cheated on her wife with much younger model or smth idk. The thing that makes this whole thing even more fucked up? Their kid was just one year old at that time and they ended up divorced. While his guitar was undeniably crucial for RADWIMPS' songs, suffice to say that I kinda saw it coming when he eventually announced he left the band.

Yea I chose to omit it from the video, but I touched upon it in the doc I mentioned at the end. Yea, I don't think anyone was surprised although I'm honestly surprised he lasted that long after returning

@goosebumpsradio My man returned for Suzume and got that bag, then left. He played 5D chess all this time lmao.
But seriously, as a fan, I reluctantly excited how future beholds for RADWIMPS, considering now they're in duo-twenty-one-pilots-like era with Noda and Takeda (although they have Mori and Eno, and almost certainly they'll get a new guitarist). My biggest fear is only that RADWIMPS being a single man band, like Panic at the Disco, you know.

@@rakhaalif8037 yea I hope their music doesn't become too focused on Noda. I'm curious to see if they'll be involved with Shinkai's new movie

@@goosebumpsradio This might a hot take but I don't think they will be involved in the next Shinkai's movie tbh. Of course I'd love to be wrong, but I guess Shinkai has reached a point where he has to offer something new, at least music-wise, because heck, they already work together thrice now. I just hope for their new album man, considering this year's their 20th anniversary 😭

@@rakhaalif8037 Yea I can understand that, the music in the films without them was great as well.. Lol same I was hoping for a new album that payed tribute to their rock roots, I've kinda got tired of their recent more pop kind of stuff
