My first contact with Hisaishi's music wasn't through Ghibli's animes, but Takeshi Kitano's movies, one in particular: Kids Return. It's one of the first time I search a specific artist to find what he did elsewhere, and that's how I ended up watching my first ever (and still my favourite) Ghibli's anime: Princess Mononoke (which is funny cause I watched so much animes before that). Departures is also among my favourtie movies; it was such a powerful piece with such a strong and beautiful story, and the music deepens it.
Carrying You from Castle In The Sky And Merry go round of life from Howl's Moving Castle are two of my favorite songs thanks for the video i enjoyed it 👍
