Most hospitals policy is that staff should change out of scrubs into "normal" clothes, at the end of the shift, as otherwise the Hospital will be charged for the missing uniforms.
My mum was a nurse and HAD to change immediately after shift due to her uniform being infected with all sorts... If she carried on wearing it, she could spread all kinds of diseases.
As far as I am aware your not suppose to leave a hospital in your scrubs ! That is bad management & very unhygienic !....my sister in law was a ward sister & I know two other nurses that say the same !! No wonder there is so much infections in our hospitals !
Doctors and surgeons are always on their phones whilst driving, I see them all the time, nurses also.... I work for the NHS, see it everyday coming to work and leaving....

It was his decision on if he would report it to the police or not (which he did), and THEN its the poilices decision on if to prosecute (which they did). If he didn't report they wouldn't have anything to prosecute.

The sense of paranoia really eats away at you. 3rd party video reporting has exploded across the UK. In London in 2022 almost 15,000 such prosecutions were started. There are tens of thousands of people videoing and reporting bad driving.

The sad thing is that a highly educated person like this driver, who probably deals with road carnage - still does not get the message about phone use while driving. My reflection is that most of us have become extremely desensitised to driving (a high risk activity) and also to the addictive nature of phone use. Edited: just noted she was sleep deprived and offered that as an excuse - fatigue is yet another risk factor for causing a traffic crash.
I assume you thought about it, and thought about the other experiences you've had with doctors on the roads, and noticed they seem to think that the simple act of driving to or from work is somehow something that helps to explain why you shouldn't submit your evidence. TLDR She performed a dangerous and illegal act, so she should face the consequences.

I’m a firm believer that if you use your phone even whilst stationary, you are the type of individual who’ll be distracted by your phone whilst moving. She admitted to already having points for a similar offence so it kind of reinforces my earlier point. I’m always completely baffled why people think this ok in any circumstances.
