Stalker Anomaly is something else! It amazes me everytime I play. There`s no other game like this. The Stalker community is simply the best.

2:19:34 AMB-17(Better VSS) As you can see from the weapon stats, this weapon deals 58 damage and is 9x39 caliber, so it is expensive. In previous gamma updates it has reduced recoil to almost no recoil and is now more scope mountable. Since it is a laser, there is also a tactical stance. It was a nice buff in short.

I just have the packs that came with GAMMA. On top of adding Devices of Anomaly Redone, which is one additional mod I always add on. It makes the detectors, rf receiver, Geiger counter, all of those have better textures and animations. So cool and immersive. Also, depends on what kind of experience you're looking for.

I should give this another try. Maybe I need to mod mine more, it played nothing like this. Mine felt very outdated, the gunplay felt old and everything just looked and felt rough. Every youtuber I see playing anomaly, theirs looks/plays amazing lol

if you played anomaly then the biggest thing is probably a mix of needing to play on harder difficulties (will make the game harder but overall more realistic, you'll die fast, enemies die fast)
outside of that, it's not much different then a free play call of pripyat without story and a lot more bloat.
If you want "what all the youtubers play" then you'll need to go download Gamma or take the time to learn how to mod the game yourself.
the obvious answer for most peoplee is just grab gamma instead of wasting your time
I have never had an easy time installing stalker anomaly. I do the C++ thing and the Direct x and all that and I still get errors just getting the actual anomaly to run😥😭

Anomaly/Gamma is an awesome experience.
Only thing I don't like is modernized weaponry.
It doesn't suit the setting and ambience of the game.
Yeah, I feel that. But then I remember there's rare gauss rifles, smuggling weapons is a thing, and of course. Anomaly is just made up lore, really. It's cool to include What If scenarios. I'm sure if the zone was real now, weapons, attachments, even plate carriers, and ballistic helmets with nods would be smuggled in. But all of this is fake, and I treat it as such, even though the best part of Stalker is mainly the ambience and immersive nature, of course this is all my opinion. I'm just waiting to see more of the Stalker 2 story, and eventually play through that.
