According to the rule book there is no order in which you must apply check up abilities. PTGCL just does it randomly, if you were IRL you would be able to have a choice. The only sequence that must be followed is special conditions such as: 1 Poisoned 2 Burned 3 Asleep and 4 Paralyzed
31:48 On that last match, you could have used Crispin to power up Greninja ex, searched up the Counter Gain, knock out both Archludon ex and Ogerpon to get 3 prizes. You could have won already.
I had Ciphermaniac's Codebreaking at first, but I realized that majority of the times, Crispin is what you would often use. However, looking back, since it sometimes takes more than one turn to fully setup the bench, this would actually be a very helpful supporter to have in the deck. Thanks.
I think I got the sequence. It goes from left to right, like you'd assume. First game, Garganacl had damage it could cure, so it activated first. There was a target. And then Froslass activated. Second game, Garganacl didn't have any damage to heal, so it didn't activate, there was no target. It activated AFTER Froslass put damage counters on your own Pokémon, giving Garganacl a target. Since you had two of them, you always ended your turn being fully healed. This changes once Tatsugiri is attacked. Now during check up, Garganacl has a target to heal, and it comes first from left to right, so they activate and heal Tatsugiri. Then Froslass goes second. Pretty sure if Tatsugiri got knocked out, the order would reverse again. missed the double knock out for 3 prizes with greninja last game btw :P
I have tested the interaction vs the AI with check up. similar came up once in one of my games and ""seems !!"" to works in the order in which they are placed on the bench most recent 1st my tests have been limited to my collection size so this is not imperilled data, hence the quotes / exclamation marks. game 1 Frost 1 Frost 2 Gar 3 (most recent)so went 3 2 1 game 2 Gar 1 Gar 2 Frost 3 (most recent) so went 3 2 1
For sure. But the thought of losing 2 Tatsugiri ex just trying to set up your bench seems very bad. That's actually one of the reasons why I wanted to try out the Snorlax Doll approach. Unfortunately, there are a lot of decks right now that can attack for over 160 damage on their first turn, going second.
if i were youuuuu i wouldve added ciphermaniac's code breaking to so when you use tatsugiris attack you can have at least two stage two pokemon on your bench
If you set up an evolution pokemon by means of Tatsugiri ex, any devolution effect will do Nothing to them. Devolutions only affects evolved pokemon that has a pre-evolution pokemon attached on it.

@PopsicleKnight doesnt make sense, tataugiri being the only basic in the deck guarantees you start with it, it literaly cannot end in prizes as prizes are set after you set pokemon in play. Having snorlax doll without nest ball in hand is just instant loss, so why bother?
Trust me, it's happened to me twice that Tatsugiri ex was prized. This is because you can only set up Snorlax Doll with your opening hand. But there is a chance Tatsugiri ex can become prized. The only rule to the game is that you have to have at least one Basic pokemon in your deck. But it doesn't prevent it from being prized, because although Snorlax Doll is an item card, you can still choose it as your starting "pokemon". The only way to prevent this is to remove the Snorlax Doll all together completely. I just played the Snorlax Doll because it seemed cool to do so 😅
@PopsicleKnight you dont understand the concept. If you skip having snorlax doll in the deck, then the only basic pokemon is tarsugiri , so you have a guarantee that you will have it in hand, you will keep mulligening until you find it. By introducing the snorlax doll you have created an instant loss scenario without any reason to do so

This is helpful. Thank you 😃
@@PopsicleKnight You're welcome! As a TCG Judge I get this question a lot during tournaments.
Def helpful thank you
i think in ptcgl it depends on the order in wich pokemons are summoned : first to be summoned is first in the chain second is second...
Its so funny i watch your videos and then play some tcg and boom people are running those cards. You a good influence. Great videos
They do this with every RUclipsr it's annoying tbh. The more popular it is on RUclips or tournaments, the more netdecks get spammed on the ladder
Really!? Lol, oh no... thank you!

😳 you are absolutely correct... I did not see that move at the time 🤔
I just plan to say that
I enjoyed that you make a Deck that shouldn't be viable fun to watch
Thank you.
I loved your evomancy decks. This takes me back
Yeah... 🥹
Imagine loving another man's deck, so cringe
I feel a couple copies of ciphermaniac trainer and academy at night stadium would be good in this deck to stack the top of your deck with evos
I had Ciphermaniac's Codebreaking at first, but I realized that majority of the times, Crispin is what you would often use. However, looking back, since it sometimes takes more than one turn to fully setup the bench, this would actually be a very helpful supporter to have in the deck. Thanks.

Someone said you get to choose the sequence when playing IRL. But perhaps, how you describe it, is the sequencing that is coded in on PTCGL.
I have tested the interaction vs the AI with check up. similar came up once in one of my games and ""seems !!"" to works in the order in which they are placed on the bench most recent 1st
my tests have been limited to my collection size so this is not imperilled data, hence the quotes / exclamation marks.
game 1 Frost 1 Frost 2 Gar 3 (most recent)so went 3 2 1
game 2 Gar 1 Gar 2 Frost 3 (most recent) so went 3 2 1
For PTCGL, I think it's just random. Because the sequence changed in one of my gameplays.
Awesome Man!
Thank you!
OMG the spiritual successor of Orbeetle BST 65 ? ! 🤪
Not quite 😅
Abilities activate from left to right, that's why Froslass activates after Garganacle
Ok I saw the next game and this didn't happen, so I guess it's random?
Oh ok. Is that an official rule?
@@PopsicleKnight I'm not sure, but it's a general rule in many card games
It's based on damage,
if Mons not damaged: Fros then Garg,
if damaged: Garg then Fros
...or random
This deck looks like a pile, but somehow it isn't and works like a machine which is fun. Great video as always!
It's bad. hehehe...
@@PopsicleKnight even if it's terrible it does look entertaining. Maybe when Mamoswine ex comes out it can be powerful
Does this mean stage 1s and 2s brought into play by Tatsugiri are immune to devolution? 🤔
Yes
El aegislash de paradox me trae recuerdos, gane varias partidas todos iban con EX y V muchos no leen las habilidades

My Friend, you can definitely play some 3-4 Tatsugiri. We could lessen the deck by minimum of the Evo cards by 2 possibly

What happens when an evolution pokemon, placed directly on the bench, gets devolved 🤔.
If they are set up by means of Tatsugiri ex's attack, they don't get devolved. This is because they do not have a pre-evolution to devolve to.
if i were youuuuu i wouldve added ciphermaniac's code breaking to so when you use tatsugiris attack you can have at least two stage two pokemon on your bench
Yeah, that would be a good addition, that is if you don't need to use Crispin. Usually after your first attack, Tatsugiri will just get KO'd...
Maybe I’m just confused, but what are the nest balls for?
So you can search for Tatsugiri ex, just in case you would like to start with a Snorlax Doll.

Tera Orb is good too. But it works sort of the same...
You should try this with dusknoir!

If you're going to cheat stage 2's into play for free, why not pick good ones? Pigeot, Dusknoir, Charizard, Hydreigon?
I've seen them showcased already. I wanted to try something different.
Tatsugiri is just a single prize Reuniclus from TEF
"Basic" you mean. Tatsugiri ex is a 2-prizer.

Why do you have nest ball in the deck when you play just one basic which is guaranteed to be put in active?
This is in case you choose to start with the Snorlax Doll, to search for Tatsugiri ex... unless it's prized, you lose the game instantly, LOL.
