The hollow and empty feeling of being one of the only moving things left alive as you tread the enormous landscape is so surreal, and was excellently achieved. I felt like I was so alone, which made my transport All the more necessary. Really nailed the feeling of a post apocalyptic Earth.
You should try shadow of the colossus, its atmosphere is beautiful, its amazing the lonely feeling of traversing the ruins of a long dead civilization searching for clues as to what it all means while also trying to deal with the collosi
If you like such games then I would highly suggest ‘The last guardian’. It’s an amazing game
Sabnautica has that beautiful element too. What an amazing and beautifully done explorer/craft game. It sucks you in for nights and nights of really unique feeling playing this game.

@@maciejchx I’ve never seen it before, but I just had a look. When the dude is running the buildings fly past like he’s in a car. This doesn’t look and feel anywhere near as realistic as Death Stranding.
Except the open world is supposed to be the USA in its entirety!! ;)) ..but i can see what you actually thought of (path/time relation)

When he got that skin rash i thought that this is what makes todays graphics next level. The spectrum of its ability to express the plot got much wider.
It almost feel like the first time playing this. What an incredible game, love it.
this game is so slept on I really enjoyed it and the graphics were amazing on the ps4 pro I played it for months beat it and had a lot of fun doing so.

What makes this game special is the actual actors and actresses are so 99.99% realistic playing in the polygon.
The moments where you were approaching your goal after a long hike and a song from Low Roar would start playing was magical.
The details in the distance like the waterfall is so awesome
My ps4 game with most playtime for 2020.The landscape is way too beautiful,and somehow the atmosphere is too realistic.

This game has an unreal design. I loved the music that accompanies you too on long journeys. Especially the first time scaling down the long mountain face
didn't expect to enjoy the game so much when i started 10/10 hope there's more to come!

Some would argue this is Hideo Kojima's masterpiece. Guess we'll have to see what he comes up with next but its one of the best & most beautiful games out in my opinion.
I loved every second of this game! My heart goes out to Kojima Productions. Absolute Masterpiece! This aint your ordinary shooter game. This one is all about logistics and the mechanics that revolve around it.
Now I know why Kojima like the game Horizon Zero Dawn graphic. Almost the same.

One of my favourite game. And seldom a game that causes me to shed tears but this game are able to do that.i thought it was going to be a boring walking delivering simulator game but boy i was so so wrong. This game are not for everybody but my advise try it. It may blow your mind. The actor behind it did a fantastic job,norman and mads mikklesen nail it. 10/10
Maybe I didn't get deep enough into it, but I thought it was a narcissistic, circle jerk "game" made by an overrated nerd. I'm all for atmospheric, moody and mysterious games, but to me this "game" is overpriced dung.
@@theuniversewithin74 I mean it’s a Kojima game... Idk about the circle jerk part, but it very clearly parallels his life and career to some degree. It’s definitely one of the few video games that can be called the work of an auteur because it is almost entirely a personal artistic expression of Kojima himself.... Like in movies, how Tarantino is Tarantino, or Kubrick is Kubrick... Kojima is Kojima and you should always expect some level personalization and self-expression in his games.
@@CharlieTooHuman I'm all for making something artistic and weird, but is it a good game? A fun game that you can't wait to jump back into? To me it wasn't. I sort of enjoyed it for a couple hours - after that I played it for shorter and shorter stretches and eventually I had to find excuses to even boot it up. Ended up not playing it at all, because nothing lured me back. It's so full of micro-management that the story becomes secondary. Maybe it transforms into a better experience if I endure the hours and hours of boredom first, but is that signs of a good game? A good game is fun and enticing from start till finish. I wouldn't even classify DS as a game. It's an elaborate Monster ad with dozens of celebrity cameos. There are so many things that breaks my immersion, like all the songs that starts playing with song and artist info lingering on the screen for instance. I'm glad some people enjoyed it, but to me it's just a self centered piece of trash.

@@lightup6751 I do think he's a bit overrated, yes. Until he makes something completely different, my opinion is the same. I never spent much time playing his games, because I just didn't care about them and when I did try, they were full of endless menus and pointless stuff to scroll through. Games should be fun to play, not feel like a chore.

I thought i would hate this game and waited till now to play it, when i saw the ps5 announcement i didnt care much, but since there were not many games out for the new gen, i gave it a try and it blew my mind, on paper sounds pretty boring, but it's such an amazing experience you must play to understand, and ps5 made it even better with all the dual sense features and amazing graphics. I'm glad i waited and experienced this Director's Cut. The story, gameplay, graphics, soundtrack, voice acting, it's a masterpiece!

@@Natty1620 the fact that whatever you do in your game can help another player in their game is a Huge pleasure. They leave things that may help you and you do the same. LIKE the stuff they leave behind and it helps them in their game reach goals quicker. The Intensity in getting around that world and escaping the BTs. The trekking you do on foot or by vehicle. I built a complete zip line network and built all the roads from end to end to help myself and all the players after me. Put stuff in the lockers for them in their games and used stuff they left also. The game teaches you about helping 1 another regardless of who or where you are from. The beloved stories of each character. The trust you need to build. The forecast of the pandemic and what happens in one. This dropped right before we started this pandemic. Soo relevant. You have to think in this game. It's not run and gun. It's survival at its best !!
@@jfc6132 🤣🤣🤣. I've played Halo since day 1 and that is more repetitive just like COD ,Battlefield, and any other game you need to - Capture a flag or base. Run and gun in the same fish bowl of a map. No substance but Death Stranding is a gem.

@@oof3664 yes. The bike does slip in slippery/wet terrain in the game when you unlock it later. Thus, the game IS realistic. Please dont judge a book by its cover.
