Thank YOU! Your video and instructions are very clear, easy to follow. ANNNNDDDD, thank you for not having loud, obnoxious music and graphics...keep up the great work!
I have an MBA, am a Regional Director for a fortune 100 Corp, and have negotiated 8 figure deals. That said, watching this video was the only way I could replace the screen door handle, as the instructions on the box were. Well.
Anybody who really needed this video has no business touching tools, which is appropriate because they probably don’t have any. Maybe they could rent an impact- the mba guy is full of shit
Sir, how do I unstick a push in storm door handle it is on the outside. The inside handle is not a push in, but is getting harder to open easily. Thank you for any help.❤😊
If it is sticking either the push rod mechanism inside is too short (part you break off) or the spring is wearing out. Maybe try spraying it with some WD-40 and see if that helps!
Great Job! The door handle holes are too small on our door to fit the latch correctly? So, tomorrow I will have to go back and redrill the door holes so the latch will correctly latch!
How do you snap the appropriate amount off when you have no strength to snap it. I'm using two pilers and can't do it. I can't use the original one because it's really old and plastic plus attached to the button you press .
Howdy, partner! You can try a larger screw or for certain applications could try a bolt/nut/washer combo. If the door is opening correctly there shouldn’t be too much stress on the attachment unless it is over-opened. Best of luck to you!
When I tighten the screws the button on the outside and inside handle stop moving. Any ideas? They push in fine but the tighter the screws get the less they work.
@@MRGREGSHOWTO It moves around a little but isn't falling off. I'm wondering if the spindle is too long with the outer part of the handle added. I measured without it on. But I don't want to shorten it until I can find another one.
@@rumbledumpthumpershaker6735 Agreed, partner! Sounds like the spindle may be a bit too long. If you try shortening it be sure to only take off one notch at a time.
How do I know how long I need the middle piece to be? I put it into the door until the arrow is in the middle?? That’s how I know when to break it off?
I got the bundle 😊, had a hard time with the handle. The closer took five minutes. Thank you for your time and for doing a great how-to video.
Nice work, partner! Happy to help!

Just what I needed! Thanks for this good video.
You're welcome, partner! Glad it was helpful.
Great video, totally helped me fix my door!
Super happy to hear that, partner! Nice work!
Thanks for sharing. My front screen door could probably use this upgrade.
Good luck, partner!
Good job Brother!!!!
Thanks, partner!
Thank you sir, you were a big help!!!
Thankyou so much…
You're welcome, partner!
Thank you.
The trickiest part was knowing how much it that metal rod to break off.
For sure, partner! Nice work.
I'm having a hard time breaking it off. I'm using two pilers but I don't seem to have the strength to do it.
Me too😢 I'm lost. Fuuuurdge!!!

A year later and this is still one of my favorite comments of all time. 😂
Great job, thanks!😊
You're welcome, partner!
Thank you buddy! I was stuck on the mechanism! Well explained! Legend status
You’re welcome, partner! I don’t know about any legend status, but I’ll take it. Have a good one!
Thank you! 🙏🏻

@MRGREGSHOWTO WOW awesome thank you we did the wd40 now working well. 😍
thanks so much!
You got it, partner! Thanks for watching!

Great Job! The door handle holes are too small on our door to fit the latch correctly? So, tomorrow I will have to go back and redrill the door holes so the latch will correctly latch!
Nice work, partner! Please let me know how it turns out!

Sorry to hear of the trouble. If you have a small saw or file maybe you can make the snapping indent a bit deeper to help it to break off.
6:18 My aluminum door has stripped holes that really tore the aluminum. Is there an easy way to keep that from happening again?
Howdy, partner! You can try a larger screw or for certain applications could try a bolt/nut/washer combo. If the door is opening correctly there shouldn’t be too much stress on the attachment unless it is over-opened. Best of luck to you!
2:57 please someone tell me what that is called I need one that is longer and I can’t look it up.
When I tighten the screws the button on the outside and inside handle stop moving. Any ideas? They push in fine but the tighter the screws get the less they work.
That's strange. Will the handle stay snug and functional without being tightened to the max?

@@MRGREGSHOWTO Thanks. I'm going to try to find that backup first. You would think ebay and Amazon would have them.
How do I know how long I need the middle piece to be? I put it into the door until the arrow is in the middle?? That’s how I know when to break it off?
You may need to read the exact instructions for your particular brand. Generally, yes, the arrows are an indicator where to break. Hope that helps!
I need to RE screen a door… previous owner left supplies but need a review, you up for RE screening?..
Hey partner! I need to do some re-screening of my own. Will definitely make a video when it’s time!
Thanks help mee thanks
Happy to help, partner!
How in the world do you bend that piece of metal. Am trying and I can’t get it to break
Howdy partner. Which piece of metal are you asking about?
3:25 here. it’s impossible to break for me too
Use 2 pair of pliers and you bend it on the marks on the silver pin!
I’m not sure about that breaking off the metal part. Confusing. Lol. Someone has made a video solely on the spindle. It just isn’t me.
Howdy, partner! It isn't too tricky once you get into the install. Just take it step-by-step. You can too!
@@MRGREGSHOWTO you’re awesome but I am at the point of putting in a new door.
Anyone having an issue getting the EZ stop to release?
Howdy, partner! We haven't had that issue. Make sure to push on the door and then tilt the easy stop a little as you slide it back.
❤
Your explanation of how to replace the screen lock was superseded the instructions that came with it.
Howdy, partner! I hear ya. Thanks for watching!
I can’t see good
