love your unassuming style--you're easy to listen to. I farmed all my life and never used an alarm clock. After four years of retirement, I still wake up at 6:00

Thank you for the tips and the comment about not needing the gym if you're otherwise very active.
I've toured a couple gyms but they look like such sterile environments to spend my time. Not to mention I'm rather introverted. Instead, I do all my own mowing, snow plowing, dug a 100' trench by hand and did my own buried draintile this summer, repaired my 80' concrete driveway, walk 5 miles a couple times a week, maintain all my trees and shrubs, grew tomatoes, ice skate, cross country ski, bike, and more. Yet my kids still harp on me for not having a membership to a gym 🤨

That yard work is hard work and a great workout - I agree. Thanks for your comment:)

I do most of my exercise outdoors. Walking in parks around lakes and fitness trails. I swim at pools during the summer and early fall. I also do some stretching and light dumbell work indoors tho. My sons encourage me to go to the gym with them, but enjoy being outdoors so much better. Thanks for your channel and tips!

Love all these tips. I’m looking forward to 2027 when I can turn OFF my alarm clock at 55.

How about talking about encore careers and working for yourself after retiring from a corporate career?
