    100% white car's fault. Center divider lane whoever is in first has right of way. Also white car needed to check the center divider before going into it.

    I think it was the white cars fault for not looking both ways before making a left.

    if you look at the lanes, the car on the left is also making a left turn from the center divider lane from farther back. since the white car is further in completing its left turn the other car is at fault. it is not a 100% fault but more like 70% to 75% the fault of the grey car. without a better view it looks like the grey car was probably driving down the center divider lane to bypass traffic to finally make a left. neither was paying attention what was up ahead. the white car driver was likely looking to merge and was seeing if it was clear behind and to the right of him. while the grey car had only up ahead to pay attention to but did not react in time because he/she was probably on their phone.

    Typical Viofo Starvis II oversharpening. Notice the white halo around the powerlines? But they still won't add a sharpen setting in their updates even after multiple attempts to bring it to their attention. Compare it to an A129 Pro and you'll see what i mean.

    Have you ever tried the Viofo dashcams with HDR turned off during the day and the effect that has on motion blur? I saw people waiting on an update on the 229 pro video.

    Nice video! I am planning to run 2 A119 mini 2's as front and back camera's as the A229 Pro's video is subpar compared to the A119 M2's video, especially since it can run 2K 60fps and its night time video just blows away every other current dashcam viofo or any other brand has to offer!

    Who is at fault here?
    1. Designers of the road.
    2. The black car that is driving too fast for this road condition.

    Its usually the person making a left turn as per road rule if I am not mistaken because I was charged by the police 10 yrs back but the court threw the case out due to insufficient proof. The black car should have been careful if it was me in that situation & I see the car has stopped left or right I would stop too

    Lifehackster, I have been a subscriber for a while and find your videos very informative. I am and have been considering a dashcam for both my wife's car and my pickup. How do you rate the offerings for 2024? Someone has recommended the Thinkware U2000 and the Blackvue line. I don't recall any review from you on either line. If I recall correctly, you rated the Viofo A229 Pro the best of all. Two things that are most important after clear video is ease of install and of course cost.

    • @LifeHackster
      @LifeHackster  4 месяца назад +2

      You definitely need a Starvis 2 sensor. The A229 PRO and the Vantrue N4 Pro are pretty good but they are also pricey. I like the A119 mini 2 because of the price and video quality is pretty good too.

      @@LifeHackster Hey brother, thanks for taking the time to respond to people's questions. We appreciate you.
      Dashcams seem like one of those underserved market segments that has a lot of room for technological advancements.
      Same goes for cameras for ebikes and bicycles.
      If dashcams can mature to a certain point, the tech will almost certainly trickle to other segments like ebikes.

    • @LifeHackster
      @LifeHackster  4 месяца назад +1

      @@OptimusSatanas That's a pretty good idea on bike and motorcycle dashcams. There's only a few companies doing it and they are expensive...and these are the ones that really need a dashcam... Go PROs are a lot of hassle to setup for it.

    • @OptimusSatanas
      @OptimusSatanas 4 месяца назад

      @@LifeHackster Agreed. I think IP waterproofing, battery efficiency, and image stablization are a few things that come to mind as extra considerations for a ebike/bicycle cam. Insta360 X4 looks cool, but is very cost prohibitive. The Fly12 Sport looks cool, but its also expensive and I dont like the light being integrated. Its does have image stablization tho.

    Hello LH I know this comment doesn’t have anything to do with this video but I need your help l have Wyze V3 cameras and since the last Wyze firmware update non of my Wyze V3 cameras will load live view. I’ve reached out to Wyze customer service at least five times this week asking if someone could look into this issue and to have their programmers look into this and send out a firmware update because I know I’m not the only one who’s cameras aren’t working. I know you can use your platform to ask them what’s going on here. I have other new brand cameras and they all upload in live view just not my Wyze cameras. It seems that Wyze doesn’t care about their customers because this has gotten old. Thanks this is the only way I know how to reach out to you. Thanks

      @@LifeHackster That's not my point, it's not about if I prefer to use a polarizer or not or if you have them on all your dash cam or not. You're not reviewing the product of it's out-of-the-box performance. So how's the video performance without the polarizer?
