Awesome books! Definitely good enough grades for me! Alot of sweet silver agers there! "strapped to a bed"... Haha I had a few chuckles! Your definitely funny and your videos are entertaining! I'd definitely consider getting that Riddler cracked and glue removed.. It's a pretty important and pricey silver age Batman key. I just picked up that book as well. Lower grade of course!
I think I am going to have it cracked and remove the resto. Even if it's a lower grade I think it's just the right move. Thank you for checking out the video and glad you had fun!
That Amazing Spider-Man with the John Romita Sr. Signature on the inside front page is most likely an original signature. That's how all of the creators use to sign their books back in the day. They didn't sign the front cover like creators do today so maybe that book should have been submitted to CBCS who will authenticate non-witnessed signatures and give you a yellow label. Enjoyed this video.
That was definitely my thought too! And now I've encased it in a tomb, most likely to never see that signature. It certainly makes me waver on getting everything slabbed. Maybe I shouldn't? Thanks for the comment and for watching!
You have a lot of neat Silver Age books. I have a lot myself but right now I’m protecting them with Mylars and Topladers. It’s way to costly to grade books unless the books are worth a thousand and up. Maybe six hundred dollars is ideal. Enjoyed your content! 👍
Thank you! And that's a GREAT way to protect them! Have you seen the hard cases that enclose the books and are held together with magnets? I have this fantasy that I'll get them all graded, and then in a few years sell them all and retire and make millions! 🤣
Great stuff as always! Is that Wonder Woman with the spider cover one of the ones you bought from me years ago? I definitely had that one in the old collection and it was definitely beat up.
Remember it’s not only the outside of the book they check they check the inside also I had a few sent with notes and one had something in the inside I didn’t notice 😅
Ha! I'm considering resubmitting it and having CGC remove the restoration. It's just a bit of glue on the bottom staple. The question is, are they just going to cut away all that paper, and then kill the grade to like a 2 or 2.5 blue label? And which is better, a 5 Purple or a 2/3 blue? Is the value similar? Maybe I should make a video about it!
You should have done more research on grading and cleaning before submitting to cgc . And yeah that avengers enter dr doom is kinda nice and worth more than you made it sound.
Without a doubt! I was just so excited to start getting submitted I didn't pause to thing some things through. It's been some good lessons learned these past couple of months. No regerts though! Thinking of cracking that Batman and resubmitting to have them remove restoration. Might get a lower grade, but blue label. I need to decide which is better, higher in purple, or lower in blue...
New to the channel.... love the unboxing. Can't wait to see future vids. Congrats on the books, they are nice.
Thank you for checking out the content! It's cool to meet you, Comic Robb!

Not disappointed. You have some pretty cool books there.
What are your thoughts on cracking that Batman and having CGC remove the resto and re-grade?
@@SwarmofComics probably worth it.
@@bronzevillecomics2581then I might do it, and make a video about it. Hell, let's video everything!

I THINK that's where I got it from? Details are fuzzy, but if you had it, that would be a weird coincidence if I didn't buy it from you!
That shirt is rad!!
Thank you, now I just need the comic! 😂

I do think a lot of people forget that. Sadly the grader notes are almost non-existent, that if it is an inside issue, you might never know it!
Guessing CGC grades is too hard and random of a game to play... 🤔😵💫🔮 I bet blackjack is more your style! 😆♠️
Nice Punch 12 shirt…
Thank you! Found it on redbubble.com and I love it!
I mean if you don't want you purple, I will take it. Ha!
