Kfb (knit 1 front and back, modified, without a purl bump)

How to work kfb (modified, without a purl bump)
Knit into the front loop of the stitch you want to increase on the left-hand needle, leave the stitch on the needle; insert right-hand needle as if to purl through the same stitch on the left-hand needle, but instead of knitting it, slip it off onto the right-hand needle, making one stitch into two without a purl bump.
