I lived in Clifton for 30 years, moved to Leesburg a few years ago. Clifton is close to everything but still has that rural feel, the tiny town like stuck in a timewarp, if you like a slower pace but still close the thick of things. Fairfax City is nice if you really want to be in the thick of things, including traffic, its horrible at certain hours.

Hi...new subscriber, I grew up in springfield.ravensworth farms at Braddock rd and 495..has a great childhood there.when we moved there in 62 the road was a 2 lane dirt rd..I think it's 4 or 5 lanes each way now also lived in Burke farirfax Annandale falls church and bought a townhouse in Lorton in 86.right by the auto train sta.i got lucky when I sold that.sold it in the first hr.to the first people that came to look at it.bet that doesn't happen much these days.i transfered to fla with FedEx so everything had to happen fast..in fact my realtor told me I should have a open house but I didn't have time.there was something forgot to have me sign which saved me from what after I left.the guy didn't listen to me about closing the shower door all the way..the bathroom in the master bedroom collapsed all the way to the 1st floor.i can't imagine how they felt after that..he should have listened to me I guess.anyway I've seen they have a townsquare now.it looks real nice.when I lived there it was a gas station by the exit at Lorton rd a post office and auto train..I could put my car on that in Orlando and be there in a couple days.if I give the address could you find out what happened with the house.only if you have time though.its 7944 Timarand ct.Lorton VA

look iam from baltimore maryland iam a educated black man living in fairfax county for the africans from africa they love virginia but me my self as a african american it has full of hate with white man and women and their is some other people of color over here that hate as will look it is 2022 not 1972
now people that want to live over here black white what ever its cool but for me i cant take the hate any more
seattle is a great place to grow up in growing up in seattle was cool for me because people really did not care a bout what race it was a bout how you would carry your self i have gone out with asian women black and white back in seattle but out here its a bout what type of car you drive how much money you make and and its a bout what you are most black people date each other look anyway iam sick of the hate groups thats why iam moving out of here soon
life in fairfax county is hell look i have lived out here just four years and me as a african american man its bad you have a lot of hate out here real talk now i cant talk for the asian people hispanics and can not speak for every african american man or women but for me its been hell

If people really repped Fairfax as the independent country it is and stop trying to make them towns like McLean and Tyson as independent cities which it's not cause VA counties are basically independent cities so to the fast no independent cities belong to any county Fairfax would be known more world wide is bigger than va Beach with 1.2 million makes it a major city honestly bigger than DC and bmore Fairfax deserves way more respect as far as being a large jurisdiction it's a independent county like Arlington which they'll call a city but keep breaking Fairfax down like the cities are different zones or jurisdictions which they're not and Fairfax is huge and should be called Fairfax county and just that and stop breaking it down all the world can know all them unknown areas are all apart of a huge very known area and watch how much Fairfax really explode with popularity and more fame as a area
