cheaper than a guided hunt in the US with much more opportunity...but still outside my price range... livin' vicariously thru you, Who_Tee_Who, so thanks for sharing. ;-)
if you want to skip the extra cost of the taxidermy, you could look at management/cull hunts. those are usually a lot of shooting and are often under 5K USD for a week of hunting.
Another trip done with great success along with a new chapter of memories. It was wonderful you took the wife along. I need to try this sometime. You have been the cause of me buying a few more rifles and you will probably push me over the edge to go to Africa.
Great call bringing the wife on a trip of a lifetime for most. Congratulations on your successful trip abroad using two different Savage rifles and cartridges.
Great to see that you made it there and back safely! So glad also that you had such a great time. Hope your lovely wife had a great time as well. Looking forward to the videos. Welcome back.
So happy for you and your wife to have this opportunity. Hearing the noises of South Africa brings back memories. I can’t wait to go again next year. I’m looking forward to your videos from the trip.
"Howzit boet!" Some more local SA lingo for ya! And, now I can call you "boet", having successfully hunted in SA. WHO-TEE soooo glad you and the missus had a great time and enjoyed my beautiful country. And the great harvest! Yeah, told ya....them 'old schools' in SA still blow thier mouths off 'bout 6.5CM...as I mentioned in my earlier posts here....And then you prove 'em wrong!!! Good for ya!!! Can't wait to see your next vids!
Awesome footage…Looking forward to seeing the rest…Your a solid dude and I’m glad to see you out here on some amazing hunts…Glad to see you repping Burris…They are hands down my favorite scopes to hunt and shoot with…
That first time feeling is amazing! I'm headed back for my second trip next May. Flights are already purchased. Just got back from chasing Pronghorn in Montana over the weekend, $1,700.00 all in including a buck AND doe tag. Best meat there is!
Wow! Looks great! Glad you enjoyed it. A couple of my friends have been there to hunt, too expensive for me at the moment. Watching from Malta, Europe.
Super glad you enjoyed hunting my home country, impala, blesbuck, wildebeest and warthog is pretty much the animals most of us hunt for game meat. I am from Pretoria.
It's funny that people say that the 6.5 CM is weak sauce but dead is dead. People take Elk and Moose every year with a .243 and a well placed shot with a 6.5 CM trumps a bad shot with a .375 H&H every time.
Dude. Great job. I love all your videos. You're the kinda guy that makes the less expensive rigs work. Burris scope rock. I got a lot of Leopold and Burris scopes. Thanks for all the videos u share
Bravo !!! 😊😊 😊
Great video. Your enthusiasm is infectious. Can’t wait to see the upcoming videos of your hunt. Glad your wife got to go with you & experience the trip.
Looking forward to the upcoming videos. Sounds like an awesome trip! And i just looked up and the prices any they are VERY reasonable. You show budget friendly options and I appreciate that. You took accurate, reliable, affordable rifles on an affordable trip to AFRICA! Excellent job. Thank you!
Welcome to my country-South Africa. Going hunting again this weekend. End of season. I hunt at least 4x per year. I have many rifles.....still I hunt with 30-06 most of the time. Always train of sticks for Africa
I Hunt the same way. Just about any rifle round is quite deadly...if put in the proper spot. Good rifle, good ammo and good practice. Seems to work every time.
I love it. Look forward to the detailed videos to come. I have always wanted to make a trip to Africa. I did not realize you could travel overseas with suppressor. I suppose flying out of Atlanta helps. I want to make a similar trip but am not sure if I should ask my nonhunting wife to come. I will have to look for your videos on the banish backcountry suppressor. I am looking at that for my 30-06
You seem really energized after this trip, I have a feeling that this isn’t your last trip to Africa. It was awesome that you were able to take your wife. Keep on keeping on!
Congratulations 🎊 . Nice looking animals. Remington got it done. Glade to see you wife ❤got to go on the trip once in lifetime some special to share 🎉. You see any warthog or bushpigs ? Dikers small baby antelope?
That’s a we really cool hunting adventure! got to take your wife with you too! Glad to see you take the Savage’s with you. I have a Savage XP in 6.5cm, shoots really well and 30-06 is what everything is compared to, for good reason. Thanks for sharing
It looks like you had a lot of fun. This is the first video that I have seen your lovely wife. It's awesome that you were able to share this experience with her. I'd be curious to learn about the process that you went through to take your guns overseas. Was it significantly different than when you travel in the US with them.
I’ve been to Africa twice once to Zimbabwe once to South Africa took 3 animals each trip don’t know if I’ve ever enjoyed anything more than that I felt like if I had any more fun it would’ve had to be illegal 😊
Glad you enjoyd South Africa WTW... Some of the best hunting in the world. I'm from SA (selling John Deere Equipment) and took a couple of USA guys From the JD Factory for a weekend out to relax... also hunted some. They will definitely come back for more... as should you. Regards Dave
😂 your still buzzing in this video, so happy you had a blast mate can't wait til the other videos come out. Yes I was one of those not sure about the creedmoor but glad it worked out well. Great stuff
Nice video ! Looking forward to seeing all your hunting videos next days ;) I think now you're addicted to africa and you already think to return into this majestic country as soon as possible. I like to read bad comments about the 6.5 Creedmoor because most of them have never used it. Even if its design is more modern, its ballistic is almost the same than the good olds 6.5x55 and 6.5x57 which have nothing to prove anymore about big game hunting. I have hunted a lot in Africa and I culled many animals for management and meat. I have a Blaser R8 in 6.5 Creedmoor for almost 3 years now and I have hunted many wildebeests, waterbucks, kudus and hartebeests without any problems....so far, I have never seen any difference with my .300 Winchester magnum and even the .338 Lapua magnum. A "little" bullet in the right place is better than a dozen of big in the wrong place. So Far, I have used Swift Scirocco 130 gr, Barnes TTSX 120 gr, Hornady ELD-X 143 gr and Hornady Interlock 160 gr. They all did a great job. I prefer a hunter coming in africa with a 6.5 Creedmoor for hunting plains game and who knows how to use his rifle, than a man who comes with a .375 H&H mag and who closes his eyes because he is afraid by the recoil. The first one will have a better success than the second.

livin' vicariously thru you, Who_Tee_Who, so thanks for sharing. ;-)
The cost of taxidermy and shipping will be more than the trip itself 😮
@@mikecollins8241 or at least as much. Lol

Congratulations...sounds like an epic trip you had. 👍.
Sounds like a fun trip. They say the taxidermy shipping is the most expensive part of the trip.
That’s a we really cool hunting adventure! got to take your wife with you too! Glad to see you take the Savage’s with you. I have a Savage XP in 6.5cm, shoots really well and 30-06 is what everything is compared to, for good reason. Thanks for sharing
So cool, Africa is still very wild.
It looks like you had a lot of fun. This is the first video that I have seen your lovely wife. It's awesome that you were able to share this experience with her. I'd be curious to learn about the process that you went through to take your guns overseas. Was it significantly different than when you travel in the US with them.
I explain in detail that process in a seperate video. But in short, it was very easy.
I mean this in the best way possible. You out punted your coverage, WHOTEEWHO!
I’ve been to Africa twice once to Zimbabwe once to South Africa took 3 animals each trip don’t know if I’ve ever enjoyed anything more than that I felt like if I had any more fun it would’ve had to be illegal 😊

You have to give Namibia a go as well. Best hunting in the world!
Been twice! Loved it!
... it's cool that you got to sample the meat of the animals you took ... as long as it was you eating meat and not some lion it was a good hunt
Very yummy
