I will be adding items to my store all the time and all proceeds go right back into the channel! Finally snagged another tonka winnebago on ebay. Going to build a slammed cruiser hopefully to haul a trailer and a ratrod around. In this video I show you around the RV and then we tear it down to start the cutting.

If u steal the air ride for the winnebago, u can always redo the interior. Hide the rear shocks in closets/cabinets or shower stall. This is goina be a pretty cool build. Ive seen them jacked up on 4x4 frames. Interested how this will turn out bein slammed 👍

Sweet idea but I say give it a functional slam. A vehicle looks better if it can still function properly and judging by the awesome Fab work you're capable of doing. I believe you could give it a nice lowered look without the bags to save interior besides isn't that why you were excited to see the interior in such good shape. Keep up the good work. I think your scale garage is one that everyone else should try to go by.

Made one of these about ‘13ish. TLT’s, RC4WD single speed tranny, on Leaves, Uni-mog CC-01 tires/wheels. Eventually the little chrome monster truck tires/wheels where I got the TLT’s. A little bigger and wider. Standard chevron tread. Didn’t have it long enough to do any interior other than simple seat and steering wheel. Lexan windows. Slow but effective. I totally wanted to do a Horror theme inside, had a Iron Maiden-Eddie-Piece of Mind figure in mind.

No don't air ride it. youve made it so far with the ramp truck leave that as it is. use Rc4wd LoRider tires narrow the front axle a bit for seteerage and use servos on normal springs to change the ride height. ive been planning this same build for a while to go with my mighty roughneck pickup on an SCX10 Chassis :)

I just saw a short of this thing. I’ll be watching this playlist today 😁 a few years ago our car club (qc Gearheads) bought a real winnie brave we called it the gearbox . It was gonna be our mobile clubhouse to take to car shows. We got it about 80% finished and someone offered some good money for it so it got sold. We we’re gonna do a turbocharged junkyard ls motor in it . Sure would’ve been cool

Normally I would say no to stealing parts from one project for another... But in this case I feel the air ride needs them other 2 shocks for the rear and see if that helps. If not then I say use the kit on the wino and use the 2 spares on the front of the ramp truck... But another kit later on. Also might have to "roll" them fenders just a touch so it can drop smoothly.. Or shave a touch off the adaptor..

Please don't give up on the ramp truck air suspension you are so close to getting it right. If this tonka will be a tow rig you should probably put in a nice low riding leaf setup in the rear that won't sag with the weight of a trailer

  • @skylark6167

Is there any way you could make adjustable height suspension with servos and regular shocks? You'd need some strong servos but it might be possible, it could even lock in to place by rotating the servos past the highest ride height point so you don't need to keep applying power to keep it up.
