I had a real Champion Transvan RV for a few years. We called it the MPU Mobile Party Unit On the back just to the left of the rear window, I just brushed painted with a artist brush. The short bus. About four inches tall, got a lot of laughs. Last time I saw short bus a buddy of mine had bought it from me too many toys in the driveway, it was doing deer lease duty. Good times.
Dude that thing runs amazing brother, killer job, love messing around with these old Tonka motor homes, have 4 of them, have rock crawlers but as of now I’m going to have me a low rider. 👍👍👍 bro, can’t wait now and thanks for the idea on the low rider.
Hey RC Everyday hope your doing great. I've got a little challenge for ya. How about painting the interior in the rc motor home? Captains chairs white, sink silver etc. Nice trailer, Really like that one. You did a great job on that motorhome. It's really nice. Like the lowered stance on it. It all goes together well. Great Job man. Take care have a great weekend bro.
The winny looks great , love the way it handles, both driving, and hauleibg. The rat rod looks perfect for the trailer. In a word , AWESOME. Keep 'em rolling. Thanks for the videos.
I'll have to check out the Raffee trailer, because I need axles for a wider build. I want to build a goose neck for a 1/6th scale truck, so a wide 1/10th scale might be the ticket. The Winnebago just looks awesome rolling along with that trailer.
Yep I like this build R C Sparks did one for off road. the trailer needs a winch. I like the lowered look and keeping it simple works, why not swap the ESC and receiver box's round so the battery wires are at the front.
It occurs to me that with the aluminium angle pieces you used to anchor the leaf springs in the first video could have been connected together to form an actual chassis without sacrificing the ride height you have. Also...a bit of clever welding or attaching and that chassis bits in the rear could have been extended to create a stable anchor point for the trailer hitch through the rear. I am thinking long term. I love this whole build. I know want to find the old Tonka red and green dump truck I had as a kid and repeat this build on that. I have an old UHaul truck from the early 70s and a larger Tonka Ambulance that would be killer to make as an RC. I know from past experiences that these clever builds often end up failing and if I had only worked a little more I could have a stable platform to avoid body warping or tearing. Also...a bit more weight on the bottom would add to the killer body sway and also lower the center of gravity even more.
Really there is no need for a full chassis with the giant steel box of a body, even with the sections cut from the floors it has no give in the structure at all. Took it out for another drive today with absolutely no issues whatsoever. Dont get me wrong I love to build overkill but it really isnt necessary on this. The vintage steel is far stronger than the aluminum angle could ever hope to be.
I still watch this video every time it pops up. I'm not sure if u still have it or have finished the interior but and updated video on this would be cool!
It's all preference of course but at this point , I would turn that thing into a vendors truck ..years ago a buddy of mine build a 20s style school bus into a chop top vendors truck for hot rod magazine , I see the potential there to make that thing a awesome center piece for your rc shows , especially for swapmeets and get togethers with other enthusiasts .. maybe some side pipes and a mural scene with your logo .. maybe build some tables and a retractable awning ..rat rods are cool but who has a hot rod motorhome ? When I used to build custom choppers .. I found a t-shirt airbrush artist that , I could drop fenders and tanks off with and let him go nuts ..then I just simply clear coated the work he did .for $30 bucks and poof $1200 dollar custom paint job .. shhhh trade secret .... Of course I like the RV .. and everyone has ideas but that thing could really be cool for all sorts of shows not just rc ..rv shows , hot rod shows you could probably bring in a lot more enthusiasts any way great show thanks for sharing ..
I have that 5:1 gear reduction unit(transmission). You need to put the provided pinion closer to the motor side and not to the end of the shaft. If you put it to close to the end it will bind on that large washer thing that protects the gears. Did you try filing a flat spot on the broken shaft to secure a grub screw?. Great job! Your doing great work and have some nice builds as well.
I just seen this vid its pretty cool wat u did and why not put led lites in place of the fake lenses that way it gives the camper more awe factor I think it wld look great. Awesome build and reuse of a old toy.
I’ve considered it. The suspension has settled a bit now so it’s all but useless in the gravel. Just have to decide if it’s a pavement only rig or not.
Looks like it's been bagged! Consider fitting the battery cable plug to the body, so when it's time to recharge, you just plug the charger into the body. ...& solar panels.... gotta have solar!!
Two years later, fantastic build Brother.
That's so freaking cool! I had a Tonka Winnebago when I was a kid. My Star Wars guys basically lived in it.
Your work is incredible. All the series are unreal. This Rat Rod Tonka Winnebago RC is CREATIVE!!!!!!!!!!!! All three parts. Completely AWESOME.
I like how you can see the suspension working, where the tires are bumping up and down but the heavy truck stays relatively leveled.
Very cool winnebago

That RV is cool!!!!
Very cool!! I remember being a little kid in the 70’s playing with Tonkas .
What an epic build
BY FAR THE NICEST WINNEBAGO CONVERSION TO DATE!
Man that thing is killer
What a great fun build.
Awesome Project , Winne hauls the freight with ease !
OMG that's cool. I had that winnebago as a kid
Looks great. Can see it hauling a rat rod to a show.
Coolest Winnebago conversion I've seen for sure👍
Very Cool ! Rat Rod Winnebago ! I Totally Want 1!!! Lol
That trailer looks awesome ..oval all cool build
This is so cool! 👍👍👍👍
To bad the little man and lady with dog that originally came with it are lost to the ages. 😊
I love that low to the ground front bumper, didn't seem like it was much of a hindrance though. Man that thing sure is big on cool.
I was thinking it it too low. Does the body scrap of rough ground? Raise 5mm front n rear. Still very nice. Are you going to restort the paintwork?
Lights would really take it to the next level.
Dude I LOVE the Winnebago!
That's awesome. Had the same RV as a kid
Should put led running lights where the stickers would be on the Winnebago and make the trailer match the colors on the Winnebago

This thing is so awesome!! That 58 Chevy is rad too bro
Beauty stick dodge @16:00 lol. Winnebago worked out nice, Awesome job.

You do some amazing rc builds. Keep up the awesome job. I look forward to what's next.
It gave me a good laugh with the “Sorry Wes”. You’ll get back to the Peterbilt soon, I have a good feeling.
The winny looks great , love the way it handles, both driving, and hauleibg. The rat rod looks perfect for the trailer. In a word , AWESOME. Keep 'em rolling. Thanks for the videos.
So cool!!
Love the long horns!
Just an idea , if you have an extra Tamiya semi tire & wheel , mount it on the rear of the Winne just above the trailer hitch with a stand-off .
Awesome build... Great work looks super cool slammed
it looks great brother. great job
kool , thanx....Neat rig ,A real classic
Robert
Awesome work! Reminds me of the Winnebago from Walking Dead TV series sorta.
Looks great, especially when pulling the trailer.
Excellent video. It needs a driver! Also excellent music in the vid.
Definitely one of the coolest builds I've seen!
Nice work 👌
14:55 such an awesome look at it
very cool, and the rat rod too,
Great job on the build!!!
I have 3 Tonka Winnebago had them since I was 10yrs old and many other collectables I am 47yrs old now just thought I'd share that with everyone

I’ve done a newer video adding some stuff to the interior.

Amazing build!
Am I the only one that thinks the trailer would be cool on air

Dude! It looks cool! I love the way it sway's around like the real thing! I bet it would look even better with the rc4wd diesel white semi wheels!😎👍

Somebody's paying attention!

15:54 The Winnebago runs football plays.
I just seen this vid its pretty cool wat u did and why not put led lites in place of the fake lenses that way it gives the camper more awe factor I think it wld look great. Awesome build and reuse of a old toy.
What a beaut of a rig. Nice work. Subbed
I love this one!
That Rc Camper Is in Torque Drift...
Have you thought of putting a cover plate/skid bar under the Winnebago? As a cover and to hide the important stuff
I’ve considered it. The suspension has settled a bit now so it’s all but useless in the gravel. Just have to decide if it’s a pavement only rig or not.
2 words. STRIPPER POLE!
Real nice!!!
cool...light it up...
Looks like it's been bagged!

Very cool. Find a little Walter white figure and put him behind the wheel.
Great video. You should try out building your own trailer for the channel!!
wow thats realy nice, i think it needs a bit of lift in the front
Its so whacky its cool though. The coolness cancels out the whacky. Great work though, nice job.
