- CNA is marking its 25th anniversary this month. We are taking the opportunity to look ahead to the next quarter century in Asia. Today's focus is business and work. Much has been said about the 21st century being the Asian century, with analysts saying the future is Asian.
Some of them project the region's share of global GDP will hit 52 per cent by 2050. The ADB describes Asia as being in the middle of a historic transformation and predicts that by 2050, its per capita income could rise six-fold in purchasing power parity terms to reach Europe’s current levels.

Taiwan was added to the Pacific security system after Chiang's army retreated to the island of Taiwan in 1949. South Korea was added after the Korean War in 1953. The attempt with Vietnam, Laos, and Cambodia was abandoned in 1975.

Future of Asia ? These are the asia countries that have bright future - Indonesia, Vietnam, Thailand, Malaysia, Taiwan, Korea, Japan. Sadly Singapore is declining fast, not much future

Without more oppo MPs, Singapore is already progressing forward but with more oppo MPs it may slow the progress or become stagnant as they will all be busy bickering instead of governing.
