There is a suspicion that the wheel is lying very much about the speed, by more than 25%. It would be cool if you did a review in comparison with GPS speed
For me, since the GT Pro isnt a lightweight nor even a middleweight by any means, I'd wait & go for the GT pro plus with 4400wh & other not insignificant upgrades eg.nsk bearings & such. Then I can cruise 50mph sustained with headroom. I agree with the looks deal as who cares after abit. Everyone will be awed by the speed as you whizz by. Good stuff
Great video as always! Ya when Marty got a demo wheel the first thing that came to my mind was wow that’s ugly 😂 just a big box. Can’t wait to visit New York again someday and ride with you 🤙🏼
It looks like it has low battery boxes similar to the EX30. How does the battery box clearance compare to the EX30? My only complaint I have on my EX30 after a suspension upgrade is the low clearance. I would love a 168v EX30 with more clearance and this is as close as it gets for now...I think.
not fond of the sharp leading, lower edge of battery packs. Same with the EX30 - in certain situations, compressing the suspension could lead to impact on that front battery pack, and also wonder about it's clearance going down stairs. I know it would be challenging with the battery packs, but that lower, leading edge should really be angled and protected, not 90 degree square off.
If you could only own one strictly for the sake of having the fastest, most durable, street-oriented EUC available, would you pick the Commander GT Pro or the ET Max? (I'm preparing to buy one, but no one I know has either for me to test. Btw, thanks so much for all your reviews, they've helped me a lot since last year.)
The wheel is so ugly it's Beautiful LOL 🤣🤣 it reminds of the old 50's Cadillacs with the rear fins. I highly Appreciate you risking your safety to show us these Amazing speed runs. Fantastic video as always Ronin!🔥
Thanks Sensei. Nice comparison 😆😆. The wheel fell from a cliff before shipping it here and looked sketchy when received, so yeah, the risk was real on speed runs ahah!
This wheel actually seems better than the ET Max and I've always said so right from the very beginning with the other tests I've seen. The thing about this wheel is that look.
Thanks for watching! Regarding the V14, unfortunately i missed the window to review it as i was working on the Gt Pro video, and it got shipped away before i could get my hands on it... I don't think i'll review this EUC. Sorry! 🙏
V14 tilt back starts at 40 mph wheel speed which is probably 37 gps, the warning beeps start at 53 wheel speed on the Lynx 49 gps, I've been up to 55 mph gps on the Lynx. So it depends how fast of top speed you want
If you can afford it the Lynx is as good as the reviews all say, loving mine so far and its a goldilocks wheel that has no real weak points with excellent suspension, good power, solid range, and reasonable weight. The Lynx is also IPX6 rated, so rated for sustained high pressure water streams but not sustained submersion. If price is a factor, well the Patton Batch 5 just started shipping with 50S cells and the Progressive springs from the Lynx. Supposed to be amazing on trail and nearly impossible to bottom out while still feeling plush on road, though no smart BMS or certified water resistance..
This wheel has the potential so be amazing, but no BMS is a huge flaw. No water resistance rating means this wheel was designed to be on the track at all times
Not to argue your point as I too would love all wheels to be 'waterproof' (whatever that means exactly) but not all of us ride in the rain & alot of us have purpose specific wheels. For sure, this GT Pro isnt going to be an allrounder & ppl buying this will likely not be using it as a traffic congested city commuter. Again I would lov it if all wheels are built like motorcycles but they're not. It is what it is
If you listened closely to my review, i said i had to brake because the tunnel was ending, otherwise could have gone higher. Speed is a binary concept, either you hit it or not. There's no concept of did u do it for a sustained time. But this wheel is probably a 70mph euc.
@@Ronin_Ryder Yes but I assume that type of wheel , being so heavy to not be made for off-road or jumps but ONLY made for street riding. No jumping up curbs. No stairs. Strictly range and speed and safety
There are more excuses with speed with these things then with a pregnant Nun. If you are staring at readouts and displays, phone etc. while “riding fast” the focus is not there. I connect to my phone and it goes it the pocket for next hour that I rip a V13 ( best in design, build, quality, performance and wonderful safety-not seen anywhere else btw). I’m not the best rider but I ride fucking fast at the limit of the V13 all the time. The verbiage is making its way to law sooner than we think. This is the time for the 60mph wheels before they put restrictions on us and them! Summer is coming open the deep end of the pool please Inmotion!
All these wheels are extremely overpriced especially when you consider the TOP specifications are the same a 150cc Scooter/Motorbike. Throw in the fact they not fully waterproof, certain companies build quality is trash and we are the test dummies...all this *** is way over priced. The accessories, pads, chargers are overpriced too. The most expensive wheel should cost no more than $2500 on a good day. $3k - $4k+ is too much. And considering some wheels lose over $1,000 value within a year (EX30, V13 were both $4000 wheels, now sell for $2700-3K) might as well sell it at that price from the start
This has to be the ugliest wheel made imo. Just wait for either the 4400 wh version so you can justify the stupid size of the box . I am scratching my head at this terrible design choice. It eliminates you from ever using it offroad in an serious manner cause of the battery box. Ronin, YOU make great videos but I think this wheel is not near the Lynx in any way unless you are straight line racing & at that point who cares honestly. Begode needs to hire better designers as this wheel is a big rectangle & is point blank UGLY and dangerous if u go up and down stairs. I love begode as I own an ex-30. it is great. Sadly this wheel isnt meant for anything but street. I love your video but I we differ in what we are looking for. You are strictly basing your view on street . I love your videos as I know that is what you are always riding on and anyone that is a road only rider should look at your videos first. Cheers
No wheel does everything the best, at this point think of EUC as motorcycles, a 400cc street bike will out perform a 1000cc bike on slower tight race tracks, 1000cc on faster tracks and a 250cc dirt bike will out perform both on a Motocross track. The Lynx is like a 500cc supermoto good at a lot but not the best at any one type of riding, because of the light weight it's not as good for fast canyon riding as the ET Max because it's more unstable but it's better for off road riding and dodging city traffic at higher speed 🤙🏽 A proper comparison would probably be the Lynx as a 500cc 2 stroke supermoto and this wheel as a Hayabusa

I don't do gps because they don't work in tunnels. Goal of my speed runs is to show a rough idea of the power. Thank you for watching.
Since when? It's typically 5mph off for begode and extreme bull
Bold of you to assume I'm gonna look down at the screen while I'm going 50mph buddy who cares what the wheel says
Agreed...wheel speed is almost useless. the ETmax is acually 15% + exaggerated...lame
Definitely reporting a 11 to 15% exaggerated speed, which is huge. Let’s test with a gps please.
Awesome EUC! However, no Smart BMS is a deal breaker for me. Cool video.
Awesome! A Ronin review of this beast. Good job, dude!
