The most important things to ask yourself are: - Is the survivor going to interact with anything? - Is my recording in forward or reverse? - What recordings do I have/Where were these recordings recorded? - Should I reverse the drop or break the pallet? - Is there anyone at this cipher I'll check? Lots more stuff but these are the 4 questions of clerk

A little advice for early clerk: when your papers are corrupted just reverse them to trigger the specific action quick for example, like dropping pallets mostly when you record the survivors when the record is almost finished

I usually get either win or ties when playing her, most of my losses are because I get confused and use the wrong recording haha

I'm pretty good with her so I don't need a guide for her but your video just pop up in my recommendation and my goodness, I'm so glad I watched your video. Cause I never know her second presence can block every interaction after recording. I thought it only work on cipher and exit gate. Thank you so much for this video. Also, I no longer play hunter cuz now my rank is high (sorry not good with English) cause I'm very scared of cypher rush.

Amazing tips, there are lots of things could make me play as her much better, especially one tap for the recording to happen, I thought I have to drag the recording to the objects All The Time
tips for clerk that i think are really important: 1. always put your play motion on reverse 2. you can start recording whie breaking a pallet or vaulting a window so the motion will be instant, you can instantly break and walk past a pallet when chasing a surv 3. insta tap observe skill, the skill where you look at ciphers and gates from above to immediately look at the cipher in the middle of your screen so you can insta record without removing your finger from the button which saves time (this is for mobile) 4. while recording a surv dropping a pallet, there is a delay before you can retrieve to recording (meaning you can record while a surv is dropping a pallet so you can use forward to drop a pallet instantly without review (2nd pressence), you can remove that delay by attacking, using observe, or aming observe but cancelling (the aming one is better for PC) 5. while recording a surv that is hiding behind a pallet, you can walk in and walk out continuesly to bait them to use the pallet without you attacking, then you can immediately raise the pallet without delay and hit the surv 6. always think about the ciphers and keep recording them, if other survs are protecting the surv that is 1st or 2nd chair, switch and continue blocking one cipher, you can focus on that one surv so when others come to rescue, ignore and hit only the chaired surv to quickly eliminate them and gaurentee a tie 7. if there are two survs decoding one machine, record one and retrieve that record immediately to block that machine so both cant decode (works only with 1st pressence) 8. there are two things you can do if you are next to a primed machine with survs next to you: a: use a forward motion decoding record to open the machine and get detention b: record the surv and hit them, while you have your attack recovery, they will decode and then retrieve the record to block the machine that is all i can think of, she is really hard to play but if done correctly can be really strong :0

that full presence button thats highlighted yellow at the bottom, is there any real benefit to turning it off? (since it’s there im assuming you can turn it on/off)
I turn that off so the survs dancing wont be cut off. Cuz you know they tend to dance while being recorded and if we turn that on if will be cut off and them decoding is the only record who will appear.
I'm turning it off just to confuse those who I chase, like casting around them a bunch of useless copies, so they could distract survivors for a bit. But overall this button is unnecessary.
Her final presence skill seems too underwhelming imo, just starting her out and I didnt know what it did because I was already stopping them on time, its not hard to do, maybe thats just me. Its nice to fix those occasional mistakes, but for a final skill....?
It's the trick where you record yourself doing normal/charged atk then hit the chair. Once the rescuer arrive, press it and instantly hit the rescuer the rescue will be cut off and your atk animation will most likely be done at that time to be able to hit them one more time. But you and the rescuer needs to be close to the chair so you need to do the strategy where you are like in the act of terror shocking the surv but your main goal here is to just make the rescuer and you(Clerk) close the the chair. Sometimes it will fail but it will 100% hit the chaired person.3× Berserker is a must here so sadly you need to sacrifice wanted order or a stun duration reduce persona. Edit: I prefer doing charge atk more bcs of its big hitbox. If you're planning to use normal atk be sure to wait for like 3 or 4 seconds (ig?) before attacking.
This Idv game really should be removed from the market.. games are supposs to be fun and for entertainment and I've never found this game to be either. This game is literally a setup for 4 people to emotionally abuse and bully 1 person. Its completely ruined my life and relationships with real life people. It's turned me toxic and rude to practically everyone in real life
I think dbd is worse in terms of balance and toxic community, and it's still pretty popular by these days. Trust me, I've played it for a year. In idv it's kinda more stable, since it actually has a certain set of rules, and the main role is played here by actual skills. And it's actually competitive and fair, it's even has official tournaments going. Besides, I know a game which is even more crucial to hunters: home sweet home. You can literally kill the hunter in a timeout there 🤡 So don't go hard on idv, it's way more forgiving than the others. Stay positive and remember that it's just a game.

tips for clerk that i think are really important:
