Y'all can see which plants he's suggesting by just touching your screen and get more information from that than you ever could at "gardening centers". Good grief. Y'all act like y'all forgot what we were going through just a few years ago. Heck, I'm just happy that they tried to get us this information. Y'all don't HAVE to gripe about everything, it is perfectly fine if you don't.

Was raised in the great state of Houston! Clear Lake specifically. Just moved to La Grange and have a ton of land to fill some plants with. Enjoyed this video 😇

I had to look twice and couldn’t believe this was made in 2020. I want to learn to grow in South Texas. But, I couldn’t follow along. The video quality looks like it was recorded on vcr. Sorry so critical.

I had to check how old it was too I thought it was from the 90s. They must not have edited it or watched it before uploading

I’m planning on redesigning my front yard landscape. I’m currently completing my master gardening training in Fort Bend. I just need to do my volunteer hours. I plan on doing all Texas natives. I think the homeowner association might give us troubles, but they can’t stop you from adding native plants to your landscape?

Just a thought, before you upload to youtube, can you edit out the repetition at the beginning which seems to occur on every video?

How can we get those plants? Where in pearland? What’s the address

A native plant. My definition is a plant that it's origins are specifically from that place it is at. Not one that was later introduced.

Yep...the Russian's and Irish stole the potato, the Italians stole the tomato, and the French stole the vanilla bean. That's just off the top of my head...

Then you'll be growing very limited things.

@@KyrenaH Bull. Texas is naturally very biodiverse, and it's very possible to grow a completely native garden with a little effort.

Please get one of A&Ms film students to help. This is too recent to be this bad of quality.

There is valuable knowledge in this video, but when you introduce yourself three times at the beginning and don’t get to talking about the actual plants until almost halfway through a 30 minute show, it is a bit tedious to watch. You could take this good raw material and edit it to be more succinct, and then I would be happy to like and share.

In my part of Texas it's "Hell yeah" Also, diversity is coke or beer! We don't go for that leftist labeling crap!

America is a melting pot of diversity and Houston has one of the highest concentration of Hispanics in the nation making it extremely diverse, I hope those facts burn you alive inside lol
