RIP to a real First Lady. We were lucky to have her. She was loving, caring, and a REAL CHRISTIAN. NOT like the faux one we had in 2017. She puts most others to shame. She and her husband were probably the most honest, Christian President and first lady we've ever really had. Today, the EVANGELICAL CHRISTIANS support and vote for vile ,loud mouth, classless candidates like Trump ! Boy, have times changed !

She did as any proper First Lady would do, support her husband, the President on the one hand, and on the other adopt causes for social good that needed the support, and through the use of her position mainline one or two to the benefit of all. Mental Health has always been a 'Cinderella' of health care. Stigmatized with so much baggage from shame, embarrassment to an almost religious sense of 'sin' of taint, of punishment.
Mrs Carter as First Lady, did so much to free Mental Health from such stigma and bring it into the light of respectful attention and desire to do right by the sufferers of so many debilitating mental conditions.

I loved Jimmy Carter he was a good Christian man and I thought he was a good president. He cared about us the American people and our lives unlike other presidents! I was disappointed he lost, but he showed that after his presidency he did enormous things in his life that other presidents should aspire too. He helped with Humanity for home, also with a disease that was bad over seas he help eradicate it. Him and his wife should set an example out other presidents and first wives should be.
