Thank you, Mark, for taking the time to explain in detail. 😊 The tank looks great as is. Let the beauty and texture of the stones contrast with the smoothness of the greens around it.
It will be fun to follow the progress. A thing that would be fun is to hear how your process is on a project like this. Do you have all ideas in your head or do you sketch the layout etc? And also how do you decide on the plants? Keep up the good work! Really inspiring 👍🏻
Dwarf neon rainbows, rummy nose tetra, Cardinal tetra, cherry barb, black neon tetra. Maybe even some ram cichlids or apistograma? Not every fish I listed of course but maybe some of those would look good in there. 😁 You could even go with platys or swordtails if you want to go for something less conventional.
Perfect beauty ❤️so many carpet plants make this beauty more stunning. Waiting for day this scape with lush green love. So amazing quality of plants. Perfect choice. .goldy 🙏❤️
You can let the u.g grow down the big center rock, just under the water surface, it loks phenomenal ! The tripartita also works pretty well on rocks, hanging off a cliff so to speak. Just throwing in some ideas because all your other tanks are quite moss heavy (except the durch scape ofc) Good luck with the new tank, im happy for you ! :)
Scape looks great! I'd skip the moss as well. The rocks already have so much detail you wouldn't want to detract from it. Plus once they get a little algae it will add to that aged look without having to deal with the hassle of little moss bits getting somewhere they shouldn't be in the tank. Lastly for fish I would suggest: mixing schools of black neon tetras and ember tetras to add some contrasting colors Or Maybe a school of pencil fish. Long narrow body to go with the long tank. The reddish/brown body could look nice against all the green
Hi Mark, nice planting! I think no moss can look very nice. Maybe wait first until the carpet has developed, you can always add moss later. Although it is a big tank, I would go for small schooling fish and not so many species (or maybe only one). I think that would have a nice effect. Looking forward to the next video! Greetings, Wim
Lovely work, mate. Let's leave the rocks without moss for now. Let the other plants grow a bit, then you can decide. The rocks look stunning. Great selection.
Great job on the planting Mark! It looks great! I did the same thing with one of my crypt wendtiiand hacked it back and it grew in amazing! Also I would say no on the moss on the rocks! It can look great but also be quite messy and possibly ruin the scape if bits of moss get tangled in the carpet plants!! It’s happening to me right now!! Drives me nuts 😆
Thanks Nick! Yeah I'm very curious how ''compact'' this type of wendtii will be. Yep I agree with no moss, and many people say the same, so I will keep the rocks clean!
Looks AWESOME! Love that you took different lengths in the hair grasses! I think it doesn’t need moss per se, but maybe some riccardia on the big one would look cool, I wouldn’t put any moss on the smaller rocks as it will make them disappear over time! Can’t wait to see the plants grow!
Beautiful work Mark! I'm thinking about the fish question.. I think you envision this as a serene scape. So maybe some nano fish in a group that move in slow graceful movements.. or 1-2 of centerpiece fish like the one in Baastian's tank.
Looks awesome, really enjoy watching your channel. Just finished planting my 120x30x30 tank iwagumi style using dry start method. Have had lots of inspiration and tips from watching your videos. All the way from west🇦🇺 cheers 👍
No moss otherwise it became a green tank and now you see how beautiful the stones are! Great and beautiful tank mark! I'm curious what kind of fish you're going to put in. Will there also be shrimps in the tank?

Hey Dean! I have changed the outflow pipe a bit. I already had the Aquario neo flow pipes, but now I added the spin attachment. The flow is very gentle now, but definitely moves through the entire tank.
Excellent choice with the glosso mate.... I knew you would go for it.... Another tip try to raise now the height of those small rocks because I believe due to the height of the thick glosso carpet they might get lost.... No moss, the rocks have a nice red-brownish color to contrast the green plants. Otherwise it will all be greenish..

The gel contains a lot of nutrients, so too much of it in your tank can cause some algae I think.
