learned from that incident. I have a fire extinguisher on each wall because you never know when chaos will strike. Also have extinguishers in all cars. Glad it wasn't any worse.

Yikes! That looked violent, when I first watched it I thought someone ripped the garage door off the track trying to open it in a panic but that had to be one heck of an explosion to blow them all out like that. Thank goodness no one was hurt and everything is fine for the most part.

That’s one thing that most will never understand, you will work your ass plum off time and time again and over and over again and again maintaining one race car let alone 2 or 3 . My hats off to you Kye.

They make small fire extinguishers that look like flares that can be placed in a lot of places around your shop. Glad yall made it through and no one got hurt or nothing that can't be or hasn't been fixed.
Any auto body dust could have lit on fire amazing you didn't loose the hole house. Shop's take responsibility, special safety courses on putting out fires, fire department loves to come out an teach. Blessed just glad you're still alive.

These are the kind of videos that show us we're all human and make mistakes and stuff does go wrong. Honestly it would be cool if in the show they dove more into the broken parts and what it takes you guys to fix your cars

Oh my goodness, thank God everyone is ok, and also that nothing else burned, including your shop or any cars. Looks like everyone did a decent job trying to extinguish it. Fire is Always my #1 concern when firing up a new engine, or a component just worked on, Can never have too many Fire Extinguishers. Accidents and Mistakes happen, it's how we learn from them to prevent them from happening again. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you and your family.

Holy macaroni! Thank god everyone and everything is ok. Also thanks for sharing, you could have easily not said anything but it’s a great teaching moment for everybody. Seems like there been a heck of a lot of shop/vehicle fires this past year or so, enough where it’s gotten me thinking about how easily it could happen and that I should make more of a conscious effort to be safer and better prepare for preventing one of my own. If you take anything away from this out of everything I’d hope you’d see how important it is to store that M1 in a separate area and or in a fire safe drum cabinet. Like you said, had it made it to those it could have been bye bye everything.
Glad you were able to save your Cars. As a former Firefighter, you all are lucky, to have your skin intact. Fuel fires are no joke. I am sure you have invested in some good Fire Extinguishers, now, so you can react quicker and save your stuff ! Merry Christmas to you and your Family, Kye !

Now thats what I call a Public Safety Alert. I'll bet that shop has a fire extinguisher mounted on the walls every 10ft apart after this. Happy to see nobody was hurt.

You guys handled that situation well.🤥😂 Thanks for showing us. You’re right though, that was too great to keep to yourself. Tragic and somewhat comical, but above all it was full of valuable lessons that others can learn from. Some post their mistakes and some don’t but glad you did in this case. I bet after watching this video many will take a look at their own garage/shop situation and wonder “what if” and will make some changes and preparations.

This was really good to show what happened. Garage fires happen I hydroed a engine and did the same thing didn't catch on fire but I have seen what can happen

Thankfully nobody was hurt.It takes a real man to admit to his mistakes.The fire department can give you information on what type of fire suppression you need based on the type of fuels you have in the shop.Water is not a good choice for a fuel,oil fire.All the best

We race out of a one car garage, there are 2 extinguishers, on by the door and one at the other end.
Under the circumstances i think that all played out the best possible way, no injuries , no cars lost and your house and shop is still intact. Glad your all ok. Given how them doors blew out though im suprised none of you became astronaut's 😂

HO LEE SH1T dude! 😬 Scary.. humbling.. so many emotions with this one. Goes to show that most don’t know how to respond with the intense situation of FIRE, particularly at that level. Glad you didn’t lose a vehicle (or worse). Heck of a learning experience that’s for sure.
Now I understand why the fire Marshal comes by annually by our shop to check our 6 fire extinguisher.
Install a hose spigot inside the garage with a hose ready to go, just in case.
Always amazes me how fast a fire spreads.

First things First, Get yourself a good set of ABC fire extinguishers, just in case this case happens again. ABC fire extinguishers deals with all kinds of fire including the gas fire. I used to work for an automotive paint store where we mix paint and deliver. in that stores has about 8 or more fire extinguishers to help put out the fire
