Nice to see you back mate and great job! I’ve paired the 2600k before with 580’s and 1060’s and it’s still a good all round budget performer 🙏🏼
Phenom 1100t here...with around 50% of my games* on STEAM/GOG/EPIC/UBI...not even downloaded/played yet!
Sucks to be OLD with no time for fun anymore 😞
*..and Yes they should ALL run without: 4.1, 4.2..AVX..etc.
EDIT: OH! ONLINE gaming...my bad
Glad you're back! Love your videos. As you mentioned, the 2600 is getting bottle necked by your GPU. I have mine paired with a RTX 2060 and it runs RDR 2 at 75+ FPS max settings 1080P with DLSS.
in my opinion if you play a lot of Esports games or undemanded games it's a great pc
On you comment in rdr2 the 600 and 700 series essentially share the same uarch with the 700 series even shareing dies with the 600 sereis. Ex 760 uses same die as 670 780 uses same die as titan.
For official new drivers you need maxwell or newer on nvidia side.
Or rx 400 sereis or newer on amd side.
There are some community drivers for older and cards however.
Hey he's back
killer VW :)
I'm supprised that you're running 1333mhz ram I have not had a 1333mhz stick that fails to run 1600mhz cl9,9,9,24 on my 2600 non k. I do bump ram voltage to 1.6 just to be safe but its probably not needed. Although i doubt it would make much of a difference with a gtx 670 but 🤷♂️
Nice to see the ole' Sandy Bridge kicking butt. i have this chip tied to GTX 680/16 gigs of 1600mhz ram and a overclock of 4.2 gigahertz. I figure a retest with slightly faster ram and GPU will do nicely for this platform. Thanks for the look back of a once legendary CPU. Cheers!
Once...erh...young or just a Firstmover?
@@dallesamllhals9161 Bought my system "New" in 2011. Back then these CPU's were the best.
@@Obie327 Bought mine new in Jan 2012, been performing like a champ ever since. Have you had yours overclocked since 2011?
@@mintymus Not at first i didn't bother with any overclock. But then started with a all core 3.8ghz, Then 4.0, 4.2, And finally 4.4ghz. Backed off to 4.2ghz because of air cooler not being really enough. Runs great and rock stable. At 4.4ghz it ran a GTX 1080 pretty nicely.
@@Obie327 Nice, that's really great durability being overclocked for so long. Even at stock mine is running at about 67C with a Noctua cooler on it (under sustained load, over about an hour), so wasn't sure how far it could be pushed with the temp limit being 72.6C.
Why use 4x2gb ? Is better performance. I have same CPU do you think if I add 4x4 GB ram is good now I have 3x4gb but I think duel Chanel ram not working now what you think bro ?
How mamy FPS will be in FIFA 23 ?
Many FIFA is not hard game for this system . With this cpu can play each new game I have 2600 non k and still can runn each game with 1050ti. I buy i7 2600 and gtx1050ti and 4gb mob ram for 80-90euro + shipping and now I have good budget pc :) for all mob, ram. psu GPU CPU I think 110-120 euro can find all. is good deal for this machine :)
