CLIP DESCRIPTION:
Stretch (Caroline Williams) meets Chop-Top (Bill Moseley), a burnt out hippie Nam vet cannibal and brother to Leatherface.
FILM DESCRIPTION:
Over ten years after making the original Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Tobe Hooper returns to his deranged family of reclusive cannibals for another round of chainsaw chases and non-stop screaming. Hooper brings a real budget this time (having recently directed Poltergeist for Steven Spielberg) and the talents of veteran make-up artist Tom Savini. This means he can make things bigger, louder, and gorier than ever before -- and they are. He also brings a wacky, self-deprecating sense of humor, as if deliberately flaunting Texas Chainsaw Massacre's status as one of the first and still greatest "splatter" movies. The result is an impish take
CREDITS:
TM & © MGM (1986)
Cast: Bill Moseley, Caroline Williams
Director: Tobe Hooper
Producers: L.M. Kit Carson, Yoram Globus, Menahem Golan, Tobe Hooper
Screenwriters: L.M. Kit Carson, Kim Henkel, Tobe Hooper

Her delivery of "are you f**kin crazy? We are closed!" cracks me up every time
Bill Mosley is such a underrated actor.
You're right Bill Moseley is a good actor
He’s my favorite
Noah Hunt add
@1980Punk he's a singer too
Bill Mosely ROCKS in every movie he did!
Stretch: HERES A LAMP
Chop Top: *swats lamp*
Had me dead.😭
I know, that made me laugh pretty hard.
zoinks here’s mr shark
Oh mr shark haaahah
Now...she shoulda known that shining that lamp in Chop-Top's face, and trying to hurryingly show him the Exit Sign, wasn't gonna do her any good. Chop-Top wants her, and dagnabbit, he's going to get her. There is no escape from Chop-Top!
@@patricioperez7323 Best line in the movie.
Me To
Bill Moseley does an amazing job being a crazy cannibal hillbilly. I was really sold on his character.
Imagine running into a guy like this when ur work shift ends
the last customer in the store as you're closing 😂
I do every night at Mcdonalds
Not Lucas Damn bruh must be a war zone out at Maccas
Me: Can I have your autograph
Or pulling up to the drive thru window at your local fast food joint and this guy gives you your order.
I always laugh at the way he says “Oh Mr. shark hehehe” I can’t stop replaying it.
same I love that part too
I like how he says "ur my favvv"
I like his comment on rubberman:"I like him!"
Where can I get Mr. shark early want to buy him
@@Jaxon2568same!
thank goodness choptop/bill moseley is a real sweetheart in person and nothing like he acts in this movie.
never met him. is he really as nice as everyone say's?
@@Smurffitness he really is and is kind of shy unbelievable i know lol but yes he is a sweetheart.
Or as in the Firefly Trilogy
What you thought they hired an actual murder and Cannibal to act in movies?
I can see how Keaton got the inspiration for Beetlejuice.
We'll to be fair this character is not the original of the first Chainsaw Massacre
Is this documented?
@@TheOrangeRoad of course bot because it isnt true
@@marker yeah the familiar character brother the one who got ran over with the car hit her in the head grandpa
I respect that he drew inspiration without completely copying.
I remember when me & my brother was little and this came out. Our Mom had to hide this movie from us because my brother walked around with a coat hanger scratching his head and we would repeat the film word for word😂😂😂
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
LMFAO nice
You were able to watch this when you were little?
@@talktalk2412 I was, I saw it in the late 80s when I was about 6 years old. I thought it was a fever dream for a long time. arents back then didn't care. Then again, parents today don't care what their kids see on the much worst internet today.
Was he, perchance, autistic?
Her being intimidated by his appearance and his character is understandable. It's like he could pounce on her or worse.
Bill Mosley is an awesome guy in real life. Met him last year at a convention.
Dwight Renfield 86 I met him as well. A real down to earth dude.
Lucky
So is Michael Rooker:)
Right before one of the best jumpscares I've ever seen.
Easily the greatest ever. I hate jumpscares (I think they're cheap) but this one was built up PERFECTLY, because he played off the "just curious" part so well.
@@Brantendo64 the shining's jumps care was pretty good
As my brother wisely said “Jumpscares should be like a loud noise when your sleeping, it happeneds once and you’ll always be creeped out.”
how do i find it?
"....Rubberman, I like him!"
"... Oh Mr Shark!"
I think he said he liked rubberman because, his brother wears rubber and skin in his face.
Honestly he’s one of the best parts of the movie.
Also for those confused about the coat hanger, he’s scratching off dead skin around his plate and eating it. (How the plate even got exposed is beyond me, probably from this habit). He likely got the plate back in nam aswell and that’s something I love about his character as your left to wonder just how stable he was before as Nubbins (his twin) is nuts..
A Viet Cong struck him with a machete that's how he got the plate
I know this is a very late reply but his plate was exposed because leatherface cut it accidentally, you can see the sparks fly off when leatherface charges in the room
@@Sundowner13no because he's already picking at it with the coat hanger, he wouldn't be able to do that if it wasn't already exposed, Bubba just dented it and ruined his wig
@@Sundowner13nah he’s been picking at it for quite some time, what I’m guessing is it probably healed but scabbed up n he picked the scab, the scab then tries to regrow and is itchy but he keeps picking at it making it worse and more itchier which causes him to scratch it with a coat hanger and to try and make sure he doesn’t get an infection he sterilises the coat hanger with the lighter. (He probably learned how to disinfect metal with a flame while in Vietnam)
@@Giga-sigma-chad that's actually a better explanation, I just thought he burnt the hanger because it made the skin peel off easier
Its absolutely criminal this guy isn't in the new Texas Chainsaw game. Hopefully he gets put in as DLC or something cause this guy makes me more uncomfortable than leatherface
Same i really wish they'll add him in as a killer and her as a victim if not he could be like a skin for hitchhiker and her a skin for like Ana or julie
He’ll probably just be a hitch hiker cosmetic.
They have to get the licensing for this movie, they only have it for the first movie so far
You’re about to be real happy soon
Probably the weirdest characters I’ve ever seen in a movie. Great job Bill
The fact hes just a human and not some alien like most weird characters turn out to be makes it even better. Its like holy how do they end up like that

He's eating his scalp with the clothes hanger. Love this character.
This makes my head itchy.
"This is weird, but I can handle it." Is one of my favorite line from this movie, idk why.

EEEEEE...XXXX...III...T!
Goodnight
I don’t know why, but if I saw Chop Top in my living room I’d be paralyzed....but with joy....oh I know why....
*Cause it’s Bill frickin’ Mosley!*
Chop Top is a Real Far out Fan.
He's so far out, he ain't never comin' back! He's gone, man, gone! You get the idea that he probably wants to pin her down, and have his wicked way with her, then kill her. This dude is evil to the core! Ain't no telling what he'll do!
"Here's a lamp" *"uGh"*
Bill Mosley would make an amazing Beetlejuice.
Michael Keaton was inspired a lot by this performance when he played Beetlejuice.
People don't understand the horror in this scene and why it feels so dark. The character is a Vietnam vet who has hardcore ptsd probably did too much LSD and is a psychopath. A common problem if you lived back in the day I recall being about 9 years old in 69 and had this man come over to our house he looked and acted exactly like this guy with the whole round glasses mysterious hippie look and was very out of wack my mom felt bad for him would help him out so he could get food ect he ended up killing himself in a ditch a Nam vet as well he had lost all sense of reality. Back then no one gave a shit about what kids thought but the image stuck to me and id have nightmares of him breaking in or standing by the window and could not sleep terrified. The man use to drive a 1968 firebird that was black I'd see it and felt a ugly presence of evil and unsettling feeling it was strange very strange that's why I feel like this scene is more than just what it is.
hadji annihilator Damn must've been intense
Alex N. It stuck to me all my life and I've seen alot of crazy things but being that age and seeing a real deal maniac and him staring at me while I was eating cereal while mom went to get stuff and if try to look at the TV but in the corner of my eye I'd see him just stare at me was one of the craziest things ever. His car was beautiful but had a evil vibe going on after he died that car dissappeared don't know what happened to it. I remember being out playing with my friends in the neighborhood one day and I saw the car pulled up at the end of the street he was in it but he was just in idle looking at us with those strange round glasses. One night i had woke up everyone was asleep and the lights were out my dad was out on business and I remember looking out the window and seeing the car parked out close by this was terrifying to me and I could see a shadow or person in it i think he was after my mother and us but didn't take the chance.
Damn
Ew
That's deep, man
Here's Mr Shark.
Oooh Mr Shark Hahahaha!
XD The way Chop top says Mr shark just makes me laugh so goddamn much.
Chop-Top gave me creeps as a kid, shouldn't have watched this movie at such an early age lol
He's even creepier than Leatherface, and that's a stretch! Ol' Leatherface is creepy...as in REAL CREEPY!!!
Chop Top is even creepier than Nubbins Sawyer aka the Hitchhiker from the 1974 original.
Yo, MR. SHARK IS THE MAIN MAN AT THE RADIO STATION.
I just met Bill at a horror convention then saw this movie with a q&a afterwards. Such a cool guy. Got some autographs and pics.
Thank you for your military service Chop Top.
jesus fucking christ he reminds me of my uncle
Your uncle from texas?
Shaba Dadoo I like how they "broke" away and went "unconventional"...! From the 1974 "mainstream" Texas chainsaw Massacre. I like both "films"! First Texas Chainsaw Massacre is "deeply" "disturbing" and very "mainstream"! The Texas Chainsaw Massacre part 2. Is a FREAK! dark comedy! And very "unconventional"!
If only we could have seen what part 2 was originally going to be, it was supposed to have more humor to it.
RIP Tobe. :(
austinfailz I had no idea he died. 😞😞
Hitchiker
Bill Johnson...
Idk why chop top looks like a fusion of murdoc and john lennon to me
0:06 quiet kid trying to say the right answer in class
*Mr. Shark is highly underrated.*
He just nocks the lamp out of her hand lol
Raindrops, chop top
Smokin' on cookie in the hotbox
Is that Otis from House of a Thousand Corpses and The Devil's Rejects??? Looks like him, just younger version.
yes
Yep, that's Bill Moseley! A very underrated actor in my opinion.
yep,his voice is exactlly the same in person as well. i watched this when it first came out then got to meet this guy bill moseley in 2010. wonderful man.
Insanity Shayla not gonna lie I was terrified to meet him just based on Otis and Choptop but damn if he isn’t a great dude.
@@The_RealShayla Oh really? That's awesome. I love his voice
He makes me think of beetle juice
i think beetlejuice took alot from this character, and this character took alot from the hitchhiker in texas chainsaw part 1, so in a way beetlejuice comes from the hitchhiker, and so does jim carrey as the mask since that took alot from beetlejuice. love all 4 characters, beetlejuice is my favorite.
Only, Ol' Chop-Top is a thousand times more vicious!
The thing the producers of all the reboots from the 2000’s onwards forgot is dark humor. A lot of modern horror movie take themselves too seriously, the classics were always dripping with humor and that’s what made them good.
At least when the horror fails, you still get the laughs. With today movies if the horror fails, the movie becomes painful and boring...
0:33 he only talks like that once in the whole movie
Mr Shark seems like a cool guy
E. X. I. T. Exit hahahaha.
R.I.P Tobe Hooper
"There's no basement at the Alamo "
"Music...is my life!"
I honestly thought this might be Billy Bob Thornton. It looks like Billy Bob doing Beetlejuice before Beetlejuice existed.
Quentin Kaasa now that you point it out
You can recognize Bill mosleys voice anywhere lol
wtf is he supposed to be doing with that hanger?
burning his skin and eating it
I think he's trying to ease the pain from his plate somehow.
I mean why though?
Because having a metal plate grafted on your head is kind of itchy?
Maybe he's killing lice and eating them bec he is a filthy fool.
His oddly attractive to me.
It's the jawline
What's wrong with you?
Lol u got serious issues
When he isn't wearing the make up, he looks normal.
Are you blind lol
This guy is so creepy omg
2:18 i love this
Bill moseley acting is kind of off the charts, i never really seen anyone really resemble his wackiness except for keaton but bill does sure know how to act

Chop Top right here made me so uncomfortable, yet I was drawn to see more of him.
This is where Michael Keaton got inspiration for Betelgeuse
This is my favorite character in this underrated movie
All she had to do was give him a rightful tour
Bill Moseley also played Otis in House of 1000 Corpses and The Devils Rejects. You can totally see similarities in the characters.
For that matter, the similarities between the first Texas chainsaw massacre and house of 1000 corpses... I remember in 07 or so, when I heard they had remade TCM, and my initial response was 'why? Rob zombie already did that!' He basically just filtered of through his mtv and horror film-soaked brain and changed the title, to produce a great film, if I may say so...
And Luigi
Bill gotbthe otis role because of his chop top role
1:03 that literally wouldn't get hot enough to even hurt.
TWIN BROTHER OF NUBBINS
I wish he wasnt just in 2, way more entertaining than Leatherface
Music is my life!
This guy did waaaaaaaaaaaay too much LSD back in the day.
Too think, years later, Bill will become a great big actor years later. And even appear in the Texas Chainsaw reboot along with the original Leatherface in the 2010’s.
So this is radioland, huh?!
*music is my life*
This is probably how people are gonna’ think of each other once quarantine has been lifted. When we can be 1-2 feet apart and not 6 feet apart.
