I’m glad video was helpful! I found it on thingiverse. I’ll look and see if I can find a link. They have all different sizes for all Heli. Very useful tool!
Great video thanks for posting this would be good to use on a big scale heli. Does flight controller re-zero every time you plug the battery in? One of my helis the tail was down when I plugged it in and when I flew it the heli kept drifting back.
Thank you for watching! Auto level is a great tool is used properly. I can definitely teach some bad habits, but it can also help. So every time you plug in the FPO unit, the helicopter needs to be level. Or at least as level as possible, and left completely still until it fully initializes. If that doesn’t happen, then if the helicopter is angled any direction, it can have a drift to it, especially when using the auto level feature.
Another great video sir,I have the avian 120 esc on one of my blade fusion 480,I think I’ll get the ikon for the other 480,should I get the same 120 amp like the avian ? Thank you sir
Thank you! I’m glad your enjoyed it! So personally if you’re going with iKon I would recommend getting the Hobbywing 120. With the SRXL2, you will have full telemetry, and I’m not sure if the Avion communicates telemetry with the iKon or not. But I know the Hobbywing does!
Hello, thanks for the video. I tried exactly what you did and made sure the Heli is leveled before I turned on auto level. I tried many things on my Goosky rs4 running the stock ESC and the ikon2. No matter what I tried as soon as I flipped the auto level switch on my spektrum IX14 the Heli wants to pitch forward. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thank you so much.
@@Coffeeandcream99 Thank you for watching! Sorry to hear about your issues. First thing I would do is make sure swash plate perfectly level. If the swash is not level any time you use auto level it will drift in that direction.

Thanks Jeff! Question/ confirm...So on TX16S say if i want ONLY autolevel and no rescue, i would level heli on level table, in TX16S creat an AUX 2 in mixes that say i would be using the SB switch(like i would for OMP self level), Then in IKON software set the setup(2or 3) that i want to use just AUTOLEVEL and then when i liftoff in normal mode and hit my IU1 switch as well as SB i would be in self level, is this right? Also do i have to turn AUTOLEVEL switch SB off before landing(i assume yes)? Thank you!
You’re welcome! So yes, you can do it just like that as long as in exhilaration two or three channel is inputted signal you can tell it however, you want it to work. But since you don’t want rescue and you only want auto level, then I would assign the auxiliary 3 channel to be auto level and just not click the rescue feature. That way your flight modes can all stay the same and then you can have auto level on a complete separate switch.
David (FRANCE)
Hello! So yes, in the auto level mode, it will limit you from ever flipping the helicopter over it will limit the helicopter to a specific bank angle, even if the sticks are pushed all the way into either corner. And when you release the sticks, the helicopter will come back to a level position. Now this is not a GPS so it will not hold it there, but it will bring it back to level.
I just built a raw500 for a friend. Ikon2. Blades balanced perfectly, cg matched. Blades tight (per manual) I am getting a pretty noticeable vibration in the skids during hover. Also, when I switch to autolevel the heli immediately what's to pitch forward and left. Swash level tool was used during setup. Any advice?
What head speed is it vibrating at? I would redo the auto level in the software. Make sure the heli is perfectly level when selecting the auto level box.
Hi, I'm having problems with my Ikon Mini 2, For some reason I cannot get the Aux 3 to work, and it doesn't allow for me to set the rescue mode. I have an Ikon 2 on another Heli and it works fine using my DX8 and I'm using an IX14, and it won't work. Any Ideas?
I am now more confused. at 1:56 you said to look aux 2 and aux 3 in the software, but aux3 never moved when you flip the switch, and which switch did you assign the autolevel if you said that switch b is the flight condition and can´t be used for autolevel at the same time? and finally what happen if I flip to autolevel with the heli inverted?
So when using Aux 2 and 3 together, meaning Aux 2 for your flight modes or your auto level, and then Aux 3 for your rescue, you will not see movement on the transmitter screen for AUX 2 only in the flight mode page as demonstrated in the video. I do not know what will happen if you flip auto level while inverted because I have never tried that. I’m assuming it is going to try to rite the helicopter back to level and then stay there, but I cannot confirm that.
