I buy my shirts at Walmart. When I heard they were coming to Denver, only 650 miles away, I dropped $650 on a plane ticket. These guys on the top of my Bucket List. In concert, they just blew the room up in that Juke Joint, Globe Hall. Best one and a half hours I've had in a damn long time! The Rev is a maestro of the stringed instrument- those six guitars and the dobro sounded like they were living creations. Breezy played the washboard and the bass drum with one hand to each. She caught fire! Literally! The drummer's timing and rhythm was awe inspiring. I only drink diet Coke (this Daddy don't get drunk again), but I have rarely been so high.

We were fortunate enough to see these guys live at Numerica in Wenatchee. They were awesome and we had great seats, can't wait to see them again! They are great musicians and very humble, we had a great time!

I saw these guys open up for Flogging Molly about 4 years ago. They blew me away. Funniest part was after Rev. Peyton was standing on top of his merch table with a megaphone giving stuff away.
They need alot more recognition. Rev. Is a mindblowing musician, Breezy is killing it on washboard. And a drummer with amazing time. This is real music by real people.
This is the biggest, baddest, damnedest thing to hit the folk scene in this century.
every so often i come back to this video because the barn this was filmed in was *right* next to my childhood home. i even know the name of the donkey in this video. her name was leslie. i must have only been like nine or ten years old when this was filmed though, and i didn't even know this happened until maybe a year later. just one of the many crazy stories one accumulates from living in this neck of the woods.
leslie would kick sometimes, but I knew her too... scream out loud.

I saw this amazing band many years ago at Snowbird ski resort after a Little Feat concert. Hands down it was the best night of music, dancing, and partying I’ve ever experienced! You can’t sit still when this band is playing!

A cohesive style with a signature dobro sound that continues to delight song after song. Where did these amazing people come from???
Green 17 Tour of 2008. I was there in Dallas. Never heard of them then and I'm pretty sure neither had anybody else there. Crowd went from apathetic from the first opening band to yellin', dancin', hootin' 'n hollerin' in just a song or 2 from Rev Peyton and his Big Damn Band. I was amazed, not even my usual music taste, but I can't remember a concert I had more fun (well maybe PUSA, but they're my favorite band...). The energy of their performance and the crowd...unforgettable.
I was introduced to this band by seeing them open for Flogging Molly, of all bands. I took a friend with me, and he said between the Big Damn Band, the Cherry Coke$ (a band that plays traditional Irish music, but they're all _Japanese_ ) and Flogging Molly themselves, it was one of the best shows he's ever been to. And this is a guy that's seen hundreds of music acts for one reason or another.

The 1st time I saw these guys was in Broad Ripple Indiana with Coco Taylor, John Mayhall, and Gene Deer, and the Big Damn Band stole the show. Have seen them many times since and it is always a great time.
