Lyrics:
I'm bad and you know it
Clap your hands
I'm bad and you know it
Clap your hands
I'm bad and you know it
Clap your hands
I'm bad and you know it
Clap your hands
I'm so misunderstood
But I'm trying to be good
I'm bad and you know it
Clap your hands
Clap your hands
Clap your hands
Clap your hands
Well, I'm bad and you know it
Stomp your feet
I'm bad and you know it
Stomp your feet
Well, I'm bad and you know it
Stomp your feet
I'm bad and you know it
Stomp your feet
I'm so misunderstood
But I'm trying to be good
I'm bad and you know it
Stomp your feet
Stomp your feet
Stomp your feet
Stomp your feet
Well, I'm bad and you know it
Scream out loud
(Ah)
I'm bad and you know it
Scream out loud
(Ah)
I'm bad and you know it
Scream out loud
(Ah)
I'm bad and you know it
Scream out loud
(Ah)
I'm so misunderstood
But I'm trying to be good
I'm bad and you know it
Scream out loud
Scream out loud
Scream out loud
Scream out loud
I'm bad and you know it
I'm bad and you know it
I'm bad and you know it
I'm bad and you know it
I'm bad and you know it
I'm bad and you know it

Can't wait to see you guys in Middlesboro Kentucky Thursday!
Good music and a barn full of people enjoying themselves happy days. Love from cornwall uk
Hot lady, guitar and chickens, you're living in rock and roll heaven.
I buy my shirts at Walmart. When I heard they were coming to Denver, only 650 miles away, I dropped $650 on a plane ticket. These guys on the top of my Bucket List. In concert, they just blew the room up in that Juke Joint, Globe Hall. Best one and a half hours I've had in a damn long time! The Rev is a maestro of the stringed instrument- those six guitars and the dobro sounded like they were living creations. Breezy played the washboard and the bass drum with one hand to each. She caught fire! Literally! The drummer's timing and rhythm was awe inspiring. I only drink diet Coke (this Daddy don't get drunk again), but I have rarely been so high.
1000 MISERABLE PEOPLE,THIS GREAT DAMN BAND HAVE BROUGHT A HELLUVA LOT OF JOY TO THE WORLD,LONG MAY THEY CONTINUE XXXX
do not lose faith! the silliness and profound will survive, the negative and the ............well you know
2024. I've heard this song about 13 years ago, and now a heard it again and still love it :)
I love how the band gets local folks to be involved in the making of their videos. Makes the videos so much better!!

I want these guys to be popular. I think it would be awesome to be able to turn on the radio and hear this kind of music.
These folks are the physical epitomy of music. They speak to me...damn I love them.
Love you
i love how you include EVERYONE!
Breezy is pumping in the energy, reverend is playing seriously playing awesome good licks. and the drummer is pounding a 5er!! fucking golden. best real musical fun in a long time. bless you Big Damn Band.
If you don't dig this, I honestly don't know what to say! This is jam city, with a touch of the good ole singing that invites everyone!
I'm reading this before I listen to it. You got my whole lingo scheme so my expectations are sky scrapper homie lol
I do actually really dig this. Vibe and all. Just good music lol
bangin'baadass band
We were fortunate enough to see these guys live at Numerica in Wenatchee. They were awesome and we had great seats, can't wait to see them again! They are great musicians and very humble, we had a great time!
Hell Yeah!!! That's What I'm Talking About!!!!
Well i just heard thes folks on satalite radio today...and now, I think I know what a junkie must feel like needing a fix. I have been looking all over RUclips for more of their music. Had to post, thanks for the this video!
I saw these guys open up for Flogging Molly about 4 years ago. They blew me away. Funniest part was after Rev. Peyton was standing on top of his merch table with a megaphone giving stuff away.
They need alot more recognition. Rev. Is a mindblowing musician, Breezy is killing it on washboard. And a drummer with amazing time. This is real music by real people.
This is the biggest, baddest, damnedest thing to hit the folk scene in this century.
every so often i come back to this video because the barn this was filmed in was *right* next to my childhood home. i even know the name of the donkey in this video. her name was leslie. i must have only been like nine or ten years old when this was filmed though, and i didn't even know this happened until maybe a year later. just one of the many crazy stories one accumulates from living in this neck of the woods.
leslie would kick sometimes, but I knew her too... scream out loud.
Reverend Peyton's was one of the Most Fun concerts I've been to in year's Straight Up Thanks Rev and Breezy ❤✌🤘
These are my people. Maybe not the type you bring to FINE DINING, but these are the friends who would do anything for you, at any time. I love down home people. They may be from a little town, but they have the BIGGEST HEARTS. Long live Charlestown, West Virginia.
I won't lie, this tune actually did bring tears to my eyes - took me home man!
I saw this amazing band many years ago at Snowbird ski resort after a Little Feat concert. Hands down it was the best night of music, dancing, and partying I’ve ever experienced! You can’t sit still when this band is playing!
It's Sunday. I don't have a church where I truly feel a part of.... But Someone please tell me where these people reside...and when do they hold these Amazing and uplifting services!?!? If the Catholic Church mass had been more like this ...!!!!😂😂❤❤😅😅🎉🎉
They're from Brown County, Indiana.
Just wanted to say thank you for being so real. God Bless.
I thank RUclips's algorythims for taking me to this jewell (while listening to Spanish rock!!!). Amazing :)
The only thing that was more enjoyable than listening to these people was talking to them after the show. Great folks. The story he told about the 1930 National was priceless.
Words can't describe the energy the Rev puts into a live show. I highly recommend checkin em out if it's within your means.
This band makes me smile, makes me happy and can't hep but bopping...love these guys and their energy and their DOWN HOMENESS....just love them. So much yummy sound out of one steel guitar, drums and a washboard. Incredible.
F....k for the Grammy winners. The Grammy belongs to this Band. !!! I really love it. Greetings from Germany!!
we love it to! greetings to you also, there is yet love and fun in the world!
Man !, I'm so glad I came across Reverend Payton and yalls Big Damn Band. Y'all put out some of the most Bodacious real good feel good tunage I've listened to in quite some time. Keep em coming folks !!
I love the joy in this video. Oh..yeah, the song rocks too
Agreed
@comettamer - your icon is awesome!! :D
My mother told me to go to the dam man and get some dam water, but the dam man said no, so I told the dam man to keep his dam water. Going through the Reverend Peyton albums is a gold rush. A cohesive style with a signature dobro sound that continues to delight song after song. Where did these amazing people come from???
Green 17 Tour of 2008. I was there in Dallas. Never heard of them then and I'm pretty sure neither had anybody else there. Crowd went from apathetic from the first opening band to yellin', dancin', hootin' 'n hollerin' in just a song or 2 from Rev Peyton and his Big Damn Band. I was amazed, not even my usual music taste, but I can't remember a concert I had more fun (well maybe PUSA, but they're my favorite band...). The energy of their performance and the crowd...unforgettable.
I was introduced to this band by seeing them open for Flogging Molly, of all bands. I took a friend with me, and he said between the Big Damn Band, the Cherry Coke$ (a band that plays traditional Irish music, but they're all _Japanese_ ) and Flogging Molly themselves, it was one of the best shows he's ever been to. And this is a guy that's seen hundreds of music acts for one reason or another.
2.9 million views should equal 2.9 million subscribers!!! This band is super amazing!!!
This man is an incredible guitarist. His ability is truly unique.
Just discovered this band tonight. OMG they are good. Feeling a big WOW right now.
This looks like the most fun any human has ever had making a music video
Saw these guys years ago in California. Actually the place to too lame to appreciate them. I sure did. Great to see they are still making music and kicking butt.
I saw them when they opened for ZZ Top in GA. Great music and a lot of talent. Such a refreshing break from most modern corporate songs with auto-tune voices.
A barn dance worth going to. This always makes me smile.
First time I hear this band and I love it! That guitar wow! Wish I was in that barn looks like fun there! Greets from the Netherlands🥰
@@knows-about ja echt he. Dit is pas echt een feestje
A great song to listen to during this time of the Great Confinement.Let's all clap our hands together to clear out the anxiety and boredom.
This has been my morning coffee for the last month. I'll wake, shower, crack open a beer and jam this as loud as it'll go. What a way to start the day. There is so much energy in this song!!!!!!
For a three piece band, the good Reverend certainly has a big fat sound. Damn good music!
You made my morning. Thank you and keep on going. Greetings from northgermany
Went to a ZZ Topp concert and was very pleased to hear you all open for them we loved you and are interested in seeing and hearing you again
Hot Damn! Now there's proof that there's still hope and life in this old wretched world. Thanks y'all for all yer fine and fun music.
Saw them Tuesday opening for ZZ Top
Don't know if I've ever watched a video with so much joy.
I'm Irish and these are my people ...awesome
Big Damn Band is the best thing on YT right now. My dream double bill: Rev. J. Peyton and Junior 'guitar' Brown--the guitar never had it so good!
How could anyone in their right mind dislike this song. The video is great and the music is even better
I'm a long time follower of the Cox brothers, and glad I found this group through them. They should do another show together in Bloomington Indiana
The 1st time I saw these guys was in Broad Ripple Indiana with Coco Taylor, John Mayhall, and Gene Deer, and the Big Damn Band stole the show. Have seen them many times since and it is always a great time.
If he were a pastor where i live, I'd go back to church. Hallelujah and pass some guitar riffs!
My heart is broken, I'm having a copd flare up....i might not be at the bluebird new years eve... i' m so sad...missed the concert at the book store now this.....worst day of my life....love you guys. Jody herrin
Reverend Peyton for president 🙏❤️
Thank you Reverend Peyton's Big Damn Band. Thank you. Good Music.
Where can I find these people? I wish to live amongst them. They are my people.
Indiana.
They seem like they want everyone including children to enjoy the music, without SJW multiculturalism bullshit. Definitely my kind of music and band!
Commodore Sixfour Someone always has to turn it into a political discussion...
Louisville
They are from town! Nashville, IN 😁
Looks like a Really Fun Band for people who know how to have FUN! 😊
BEST GUITAR PLAYER IN THE WORLD, PERIOD. WHO CAN COMPETE WITH HIM???? SEMPER FI!
Hell, yes, this is the RIGHT MOST HIGH REV, Pey-ton, but damm, how've ye dun hayrd ev'y guitarist in the world evers?
fer instance: ruclips.net/video/64T6ugyWXAA/видео.html
Rabo Karabekian There are a ton of best guitar players, and yes Fred was one of them. Just like BB King, Bo Diddley, but as of this moment, PEYTON is by far the BEST I'VE EVER SEEN OR HEARD. And that's saying a lot since I'm an old man...
Just ran across this awesome band 20 minutes ago and gotta say they definitely in my top 3 favorites!!🤘🤘🤘
Im Glad He Has Other People In His Videos. They Are Some Interesting People.Rev. My HERO!
magnifique! cette musique c'est ça les Etats unis!

Working late and cant make headway... just unplugged....... and clap your hands.. so groovy!
I have no words except WOW!
Can never get old...with these Guys.....wait YES I Can...
i love how so many different people, punk, folk, rock, basically everybody, can agree on these guys, i can't wait until may to see them
I saw them last night in Seattle. It felt like a revival.... My hands hurt, this is authentic..... Not to be missed! I am in awe.
Grown up good time version of "If You're Happy & You Know It" :) This is party music for when the all the world gets along.
SOOO excited to see these guys again! Not once, but TWICE, for free, this Saturday and again next Saturday. One of the few times it's paid off to be a Hoosier...
This is real music that will never bore you. Keep it rootsy.
Saw them live yesterday and what a show! This is really one of those bands that are great to listen to at home but absolutely amazing live!
If you have the opportunity to see them live, do it! You won't regret it.
This is the song that pushed me to buy their CD, and buy (and enjoy) it, I did!
I went to Warped Tour 2010 in Detroit and this was honestly my favorite band that preformed. Keep up the good work, guys!
Went to Chicago Warped Tour and completely agree. They came out and I didn't know them but they put on a rocking show.
Performed
One of THE MOST exciting song videos I've ever seen. Great job putting it all together!
The good reverend leads the freakiest, wildest, and most joyous congregation
OK officially a fan now! Love this resurgence of good music without auto tune and bullshit.
Love it! Love it! Love it! Love it! Love it! Love it! Love it! Love it! Love it! Love it! Love it! Love it!
The genius is the use of extraordinary people to point out how extraordinary every person can be. What a community building video. Happy Ending is fun for similar reasons.
It looks like you called everyone you knew and threw a kegger.
Love these simple repeating songs. Groovy to the max
I only briefly heard these guys on Shameless (Something for Nothing plays for about 20 seconds in one scene), and I'm so glad I did. Been listening to all their stuff for days and days now. This is some dancin' music here!
I am hooked!! Mix of everything that makes music great!!
Ty
My kinda party. Never thought I'd say this but I fancy learning the washboard!
Will be attending their show next Friday; can't wait.
Its amazing how many variations of dance can work to different types of music.
Gives me a reason to keep going.
What a great song and band so looking forward to seeing them in Melbourne. I am on a pilgrimage from England lol
these are my type of folk, makes me want to move to Nashville IN, This band is phenomenal and my son loves them too. Lots of love from Halifax Nova Scotia
The Rev. makes me want to live again.
Love these guys and Dropkick Murphy's!!
Saw these guys in Cardiff recently (3rd of July) and they were absolutely amazing, became an instant fan as I've never really heard these guys before.
Ich hab das Lied schon ewig auf meinem Player ... eben zum ersten Mal das Video gesehen: G E I L ! ! ! :)
