As somebody else wrote below, this is the best and most concise video that I have seen about Greenwork electric mower. Thank you very much
thank you very much for watching, I appreciate the positive feedback
i was looking at this same one. my whole yard is as tall if not taller, was searching for a video of this mower vs tall grass, thanks, i think this sold it for me.
Thank you. This was very helpful. I was gifted this mower recently and it’s brand new.
The best video on the Greenworks electric lawnmower!
Thank you so much, appreciate the feedback!
Excellent video and right to the point. Thank you!
I am looking at this lawn mower for my yard, thank you sir your video was helpful in my decision making.
Thanks for watching the video👍 glad its helpful
Thanks 👍
It's a good review, and the mower is a promising replacement for my gas mower, a dual bladed Honda with Smart Drive, a variable speed self propel system. Mowing usually requires a lot of pushing and pulling to mow near fences, trees, edging, etc., but I have never seen a review describing the ease with which the self propel can be engaged and disengaged. An important consideration for me. Another one is mulching. I would like to see someone try a mulching blade on this mower and mowers like it.
Another thing to keep in mind is that I've seen several reviewers say that because battery electric mowers are so much lighter than gas mowers, they don't find that they even need self propelled anymore.
Thanks for the video. 177 dollars for a spare battery, and Walmart has the lawnmower on sale for 219. Better off buying 2 lawnmowers.
Except for the color, this looks identical to the $600 Kobalt, featured by Mechanchic
wow nice upload dear sty connected
usually to bag, you have to remove the mulch plug in the bagger chute
Having installation problems - the lower handle is not turning 90 degrees vertical and beyond. I was able to screw the upper handle to the lower handle but the lower wouldn't budge. Any solutions?
Awesome
Just saw this on Amazon for $35! Said 96% off. I jumped on it right away. Came with battery and charger. Couldn't believe it. Just arrived today.
That’s a shocker!
Wow thats a deal for sure!
What a spicy meatball of a deal.
Super
You didn't talk about mulching the grass. If you leave the piece in it is supposed to mulch. I couldn't even get the one I got 3 days ago to start so I have sent it back and they just sent me a new one. I am charging the battery. Wish me luck that I can mow my lawn tomorrow. I hope it works as well as yours...or at least starts. I keep getting them in beaten up boxes like they are supposed to be refurbished and work now. NOT
If you are asking about collecting the mulch with the bag then I forgot to add that to the clip. If you just want to discharge the mulch from the side shoot it works perfectly fine. Remember to raise the level of your wheels to decent height depending on the height of your grass. The batteries work alot harder when grass is thicker and burns the juice of the batteries very quickly. I bought my machine at Menards so my box was in excellent shape. Then I ordered second battery at Menards and it was double boxed when I picked it up. Depending on where you bought it from and who the shipping company is they can be careless and aggressive with your package.
@@trevorandjoana I learned that I can't pivot and make sharp turns with the 4 wheel drive. My previous mowers only had front wheel drives. I am trying to find the rhythm of releasing the self propulsion, turning, engaging it again, knowing that there will be a delay for it to re-engage.
are you still happy with this mower ? any issues with mower or battery ? ty
Yes it still works great, i dont have complains about it 😊
What came in your box because I think they gave us the wrong items in the one we just bought
I have now gotten 3 of them. What items are you asking about?
@@Iamravenschild We literally got one that had been returned, it came with No side chute... and a random battery to a power drill that the place we bought it from.. doesnt even sell.
Items that were in the box the mower, battery, charger, bag collector and side chute, sometimes its just best to buy at the store if you can 😀
@@trevorandjoana and mine also came with the plug to mulch already installed in the back.
@@Sheriffification WOW! I went through Amazon. They were great about my returns. I could tell the second and third one were at least reusing the boxes. They were horribly beat up.
My basket litterally catches zero grass.
Did you remove the plug? It comes with a plug blocking the grass from the bag.. It's used for mulching if you don't have the side discharge chute installed. Simply pull the plug out to use the bag attachment.
@DadBod Damien no. Now I did, and it works perfect. 🤣
Sorry to break the news to you. Don’t throw out your old mower. You will need it when the batteries die in a year or two.
I have one. Does anyone want mine? I’m throwing it out.
You can just buy a new battery. It’s cheaper than buying a new mower.
@@sandpine 2 batteries cost $200. That’s the same price I originally paid for the mower. You can get a new greenworks mower for $179
@@beermerican wow ok. You can get generic batteries compatible with green works on Amazon for less. Personally I’ve had a couple of green works 40v batteries for 6 or 7 years and they’re doing fine. Originally got them for a chainsaw but for the past several years been using the weed wacker. It’s possible you just had bad luck with your batteries.
@@sandpine the generic batteries on amazon are junk. Read comments from people that have bought them, they say they don’t even work. Chainsaw, weed wacker.....lol, that’s a totally different style of usage than a mower.
I have never had problems using lithium batteries. Remember to keep them always charged when not using them. Lithium batteries also love the cold so don't leave them sitting in hot environment. Friend of mine also has used this type of product and his batteries are still going strong after 5 years. Depending on how you maintain your batteries and how many hours you put on them they might not last as long. You can always get unlucky and just end up with bad cells. I used to race electric R/C cars so understanding battery limits I'm very used to.
Yeah goodbye gas and oil mower 😂😂😂😂😂
Everyone be careful I was mowing wet grass with my electric lawnmower and I got electricuted.
I hope your doing allright!
