Fantastic workmanship. The most enjoyable thing of the whole tour I have to say is the RC rock crawler. Don't ever give it up dude. Definitely a man after my own heart. It's also a pleasure to see someone that owns every moment he lives in. Yes, it helps to have a lady that's on the same page as you Take care of her and she will take care of you. Saves stress on the dog. Lol. You are the best.

I’m on month 4 of living full time in my tiny home build. While I’m figuring out tiny home life I’m working on my tow vehicle. I had to work with what I had when I decided to build. I think it’s coming around great. Glad I decided to do it and loving the lifestyle. My bank account this month says I’ve saved 2200 already. More money for more toys, building more and having fun along the way. I hope this summer I can get road worthy again. Very nice build they have, love it.

Not judging, just curious why you'd add the hassle of a tow vehicle. If you're only wanting it to get to places like the store and whatnot after you've parked your van then get something more compact and affordable. Such as a bike or something electric. Just a suggestion. You want things as simple as possible, that's the whole point of it, stress free, so do what's in your comfort zone, but the more you tug the more you pay in fuel, the more space you'll need and the less options you have available to you.
Just throwing that out there for ya.
Stay safe and well out there 🤙 💯

I been looking for a ambulance box for so long they seem to be rare and expensive when they do come up in my area. My 99 k3500 wants to grow up to be like this one

I understand. I couldn’t afford to build a van. Building a trailer was cheaper since I already had a hummer and a flat bed trailer. I spent 9k building the tiny home and I live in it now full time on a farm. I do want a single rig but can’t afford it. I was looking into it and it would have been dirty expensive in comparison. I’ll be under 16 spent when I’m done I’m sure without the hummer and trailer. You can pay just that for a diesel van or flatbed no build.

I’ve had a diesel truck and it’s a poor investment plus the repairs are hefty - $5000 plus every time something went wrong.

    • @sunroameroverland

I do not think he did, but my guess is due to having a new front axle, he needed same gearing and got them from a donor rig.

Hi, had a question regarding your Toyota rig. I’m restoring a rig built on a 2011 4x4 tacoma. The total weight is around 6500lbs, with 3500 on the rear and about 3000 on the front. I had Deaver build and install new rear leaf springs, so I’m not totally reliant on the airbags at 80psi now. My question is what is your total rig weight and front and rear weights? Which fox shocks are you running, and any other recommendations would be appreciated. Thanks, Jud and Liane
