I am looking for a recommendation for the system that removes the largest amount of issues, is NSF certified. I need a solution for a property that I am at intermittently, ie. one month, then away for 4 months, then back for one week? Not sure the filters work when not in use during times away. What could you suggest?
Either the Aquatru we mention in this video or the Waterdrop K19 which we reviewed here: ruclips.net/video/2ZfQ8Cs8y3c/видео.html. Both utilize Reverse Osmosis technology which is recognized by the EPA to remove a high number of contaminants, including heavy metals. Both systems work on demand so they only filter when you use the water. They'll just sit while you're away. Since you'd be gone for long periods, we'd recommend flushing the system when you're back for several minutes before use.
Did you test the water after it ran through the filters. Berkey didn't do so hot on another channel that did an independent test on the water after it had been filtered

Aquu Tru is a good brand of water purification devices. What would have been nice to provide in your video would be the cost of the device including the filters for a normal year. My question is if you really wanted to have cleanest water would using two or more different devices work if so which pairings

Berkey sucks!! I have it and I’m gonna replaced it with something else. The filters need to be”priming”. I have tried to prime them sooo many times coz they stop filtering and I keep running out of drinking water. Lousy invention.

Every home has different water. You should test your water to see what needs to be filtered and then buy a filter that suits you the best.

Also the fact that it removes the good minerals, which you need to top up yourself, is not mentioned at all.
Because we only get about 4% of our mineral intake from water. The biggest contributor is a balanced diet and food.
How does the WaterDrop filter the water when the filter sits on top of the water flow unit?
