I was looking for how to do it using any program on a mac I did not know DaVinci could do it. So much easier to just stay in DaVinci

I am actually having some trouble. So I was able to make the gif, but for whatever reason davinci is taking the transparent background of my pictures and making it black instead. I know the background is transparent because I made the images myself in clip studio paint and triple checked that they were saved with transparent background. can someone help me so that the background is no longer black? I also did try to do the thing that you're supposed to do if you have a green screen, but that did not work.

@ALemonGremlin You'll need to use a solid layer under the transparent layer. Move the original layer up one track. Find Solid layer in Effects and place underneath. Select your desired color in the inspector window and you should be good to go. Let me know it worked ok.

shame that you cannot change the frame rate in the deliver page, which makes the GIFS very large files

@MattWhittingham - It does have it's limitations. I find by changing the dimensions you get much small / manageable files. For instance I create Gifs for my Squarespace site but they only allow 20mb so scaling it down works perfectly.

@@SimonSonghurst Hey Simon, I need to get it down to 5mb for Linked In articles, so I need to be able to change both frame rate and dimensions. Hopefully they will address this in a future release
