Why can't I find a video of a stock tune 2.7 Ecoboost on the Dyno with a cold air?

Because these intakes alone aren’t going to make your truck jump off a dyno.
It’s not like adding bigger turbos and tuning it.
All these cold air intakes do is get better and more airflow
Which really only affects acceleration and a little mpg increase.
You aren’t going to see that on a dyno.

I wish I could find any research about the airaid vs the cvf or afe dual piping just curious if the dual filter gets more or less air! I feel like the airaid filter is probably bigger then both the 7” comes but idk

Can someone please explain the logic of a cold air intake on a boosted engine. I admit, I'm far from a mechanic, but it seems redundant considering the turbos are pushing so much air into the engine. Where am I wrong?

Your turbos suck and compress more air into the motor, but just like you using a straw to drink from a glass...two factors...one...how hard can you suck (turbo size)...but TWO...how big is the straw...air inlet max cubic feet per minute. The higher that CFM value is on your intake (and the colder you can keep that air...cold air is more dense)...the less work the turbos have to do to pull that air into the motor. Less restriction, more air, more efficiently used turbos...more power potential!!!

The thing is people expect these are going to add a lot of horsepower or something lmao
They’re not, you’re really only going to see a little better acceleration and mpg
I bought one for that reason a lot.
