What a find ! Brilliant. I saw them on this tour, De Montfort Hall in Leicester. Fantastic live band. I still have the T-shirt I bought there, though I doubt it fits now. Great upload. 👍
Thank you for your uploading, Andy! I could hear some rare tracks as live sounds. PIOT is a very curious melody that differs from the album version. We might see their polishing process during live acts. In Japan, all information in this era was quite poor. It gives me a brand new happy feeling, even if it is 36 years later!!
Brilliant. Exciting listen. Stuart's voice really comes into it's own on this tour. Thanks for giving the audio some remastering. It's brilliant. Listening while Strictly Come Dancing is on. This gives me hope.
It is highly unlikely that a few of these tracks will get performed live again. There was no real 30th anniversary celebration of the peace in our time album.I think Simon has sung Peace in our Time, and King of Emotion not sure if he sung any other piot tracks?
@@barryhills1275 i’m working on getting the equipment to be able to do it. Plan on getting that Les Paul replica from Epiphone and the boss DD2 pedal as well as a whammy V pedal in fender stage 185 amp along with a few other things
@@barryhills1275 well one day I’m going to learn the songs, perfect them in my eyes, have the equipment, and then do local gigs if your ever out in South Carolina in a couple years who knows maybe you’ll hear me lol
My first tour seeing Big country 😘 brings back the memories..sure it was Aberdeen I seen them on this tour .thanks as always Andy u just keep sending them out Respect
Sorry .I have heard some of the banter.I loved the banter, connection and sense of belonging especially with Stuart. Saying that I still feel all of those things now when seeing the band.I cannot wait to see them again next Friday in Nuneaton. Is anyone else going?
I had the bootleg tape from Nottingham Rock City on December 15th. Stuart told exactly the same jokes inbetween songs 🙂 Although, I remember they also played 'Not waving but drowning' too. All the new songs were great - until Peter Wolf murdered them.
@@BC1000Stars lol auld age Andy seems ages ago .I always thought my first gig was the underwrap tour end of 87 sue I got ticket through the fan club. Must have been peace n out time 1😘
"Starred and Crossed" LIVE?! What a find! Thanks!
Fantastic night I was at the Astoria. Another special night with the most fantastic musicians. Had the pleasure of seeing them 25 times. Sublime.

Hi Tada! Glad you enjoyed it and I hope you’re well! Yes, the PIOT here is very much a lengthy epic. I do like this arrangement as well.
I was at that concert front row centre ,brilliant night ,as far as I remember The Wonderstuff was the support
I saw BC on this tour in Salford, and the suport then was The Wonderstuff. Didn’t go down well with a lot of the crowd.
I actually thought they were good, and a good warm up act at that time

What great music can’t wait to learn all these songs and perform them one day.

Heaven scotish numbers oneeeee by farrrrrrrrrrrr by farrrrrrrrrrrr 💪😎😎💪😎😎💪
I think i vaguelly remember River of Hope.I have always thought Thirteen valleys would really suit Simons voice.
No better band live than Big Country
Never have I agreed with a statement as much as this.I totally agree.
I cannot even think of a band who comes close.Maybe the Alarm?.But not a patch on Big country.

Amazing. Have you edited out the banter?
I would never edit out the banter. As you say, some of the best bits. 😀
