I think it’s really cool that it’s a true HHKB layout, and I appreciate that they have more standard layouts available. If there are extras when I’m ready to buy another board then I might have to pick one up 👀
Scott I love your videos and the depth of your analysis. What would be great is if you could do a review on the qk 65 v2 classic, as I don't know if its better than the qk 65. 🤗
Such a beautiful board. I honestly wanted to get the true HHKB, but 6u spacebar is not for me. It's just too troublesome to have to order extra spacebar kits imo.
As a tactile enjoyer I've always wanted to try an electro capacitive keyboard since I kinda think EC is the tactile final form, as Hall Effect is the linear final form. I may just get in on this, plus I have anodized aluminum knife scales at home before (you have to use automotive battery acid and it's scary, haha), and I kinda wanna go Raw and make my own color.
@@happylittletrees8130 Its like a low travel hhkb. I use high vis lube for the metal stabs. Very high quality rubber dome. In fact, I gave up on other keyboards that I like including the hibi.
In terms of easier to build/ more bang for your buck go for mode. However if you’re in for more aesthetics and slightly better sound then cloud 9 is the way to go
Australia doesn’t use ISO, so ISO support isn’t at all related to it being designed in Australia. This is such an American lack of knowledge of the world 😅 Great video though! Such a cool board.
This looks and sounds gorgeous, but I have to admit, for the price and despite maybe appearing like a spoiled child, I want a magnetic connector for the PCB and the ball catch mechanism for the top case. This is way too expensive not to have those.
In today's market, you can get a board cheaper than a set of GMK keycaps with more bells and whistles like the Neo and zoom. This board is overpriced in today's market.
surely there are more aspects to keyboards than the bells and whistles or pure functionality you care about if you've been in the hobby, the price for machining the curves on top and materials that make up the massive bottom ain't cheap and it's what people would get this for. Comparing this to budget boards is missing the 90% of the designer's work.
I am quite surprised by the difference in sound of the spacebar and the alphas. Solid review as always!
Gorgeous board
not sure about that spacebar, love how the board looks though
I had a visceral reaction to the spacebar sound lmao

Expensive, and the spacebar was….

hey scott, out of all the boards you've worked on which one would you consider the "deepest" sounding by design alone?
I'm thinking going for a loud clacky sound character might be better for the heavy brass bottom. Alu or CF plate with clacky higher pitched switch.
I might get this...
Would the WK version be compatible with a Wooting 60HE pcb?
I found a hidden gem, the apple magic keyboard, take the keys out and lube the scissors switch, they can thock with low travel
are you joking or serious?

Fire plate transitions tho
Would so be on top of this if I hadn't joined Ori CLS-3//60 GB already.
cloud9 valorant pro team keyboard
Hahaha should get one of these for all
2:32 yo is that Mae Borowski from Night in the Woods?
I've been looking forward to a 60% keyboard this year, and this one might be it! Wish it was named better though.
Maybe Cloud 10? Haha
can u pls ship out super quiet keyboard cause im playing on a keyboard you would see at a offfice and it 100 percent witch bearly its on my desk😅
That is very expensive....
Def not a cheap keyboard!
It’s actually not bad for what it is

This one looks really nice, I kind of wish they made the top out of that machined stainless steel instead of the bottom plate.
machined ss top sounds incredibly expensive, I don't know if there could be a good price for that

why use foam. whyyyyyyyyyyy
4.5 lbs = 2040g = 2.04kg
I just don't think the price difference between this and the QK60 makes this worth it.
darnit too many keyboards i want and not enough money :P
man I'm so tired of 60%s
Great review. Thank you.
But I would say it's another keeb competing primarily at the beauty contest. Nothing impressive outside the looks.
You're welcome!
I mean there is only so much a keyboard can do. For me my boards are more like pieces of art what I enjoy so that board hits the mark.
