It is very haunting. Look at the video and notice it is pretty much cut in half, the left hand and the right hand. The left hand, on it's own, is playing a Lullaby, and sounds soothing and in rythme, constantly repeating like it's trying to lull you to sleep. Meanwhile the right hand is all off on it's own, playing weird notes and acting like the words of the song, envoking the feeling of it being out of place, not matching up with the left, and seemingly out of sync. When you look at it as a whole, it blends together. But when you focus on the visuals, and separate the two hands, such as the Elktaur was separated into two different beings, doing their own different things, then it's more easy to notice the haunting notes brought on by the right hand.
it's unfortunate not many people really give Centaurworld a chance or give up half way through, honestly it's best to watch the seasons as a whole, season 1 as part one and season 2 as a part two, because in all honesty, the Nowhere King and his whole ordeal and relationship with the mystery woman is worth the watch, the Nowhere King is one of the best villains I have seen in recent media
I went in because I heard the Nowhere King song. Season 1 was meh until the silly flowers started singing this song at the end of one of the episodes... then I stayed to see what would happen. Did not regret.
When you think about it, the nowhere king wasn't actually the villain. After the day when the general tried to shove the deer (aka the nowhere king) into the water, realizing if one dies the other dies, the deer realized how cruel humans can be. Then the deer spent all of his time in the in-between making minotaurs, and the more he made, the more his anger took over. When finally, he snapped. And became the nowhere king. He tried to kill off humans so no more cruel things would happen, but then the humans fought back. After the nowhere kind was locked in the in-between, he waited, and waited. When horse fell off the cliff, some of the energy from the other peices of the key was contained inside the piece horse had. And when horse managed to make a portal to CentaurWorld, she got stuck in the in-between. The Nowhere King, realizing animals aren't cruel, threw horse into CentaurWorld, because the portal horse opened, wasn't in the correct position to stay open. So when the nowhere king threw horse in the portal, it closed as well. And when horse fought back to the nowhere king, he wasn't trying to do it, cause the deer in tnk's head tried to gain control, but couldn't. But when horse entered tnk's head, the deer lost so much sanity over the past years, that he couldn't remember the fight in the in-between. But when the general was knocked off and tnk followed, he knew this was the end. Then when the nowhere king was mixed back with the general, he flashes back on his past sins, and after realizing what he has done, he accepts his fate, giving us the lesson: "one bad thought can lead to one bad future". So does this prove the nowhere king wasn't the villain? Cause he just tried to stay alive and not have someone kill him.
@@Toonsifer_and_Emerond_Official Elktaur is the whole reason both the General the TNK even exist. Because he erroneously thought the only way the Woman would love him is if he were human. She even calls him out on this in her soliloquy: “Don’t you know I would have loved you as you were: whole.” Instead, he only thought of himself, feeding his own insecurities. And chose to split his soul without understanding or even thinking of the consequences. Not realizing that both halves would be sapient. The Elk was miserable because he realized what Elktaur failed to: he was better as a whole. The General, though, has essentially gotten what Elktaur has wanted: life as human with the woman. Instead of reconciling with himself, he chose to reject himself and play the false image, and it ended up costing him the Woman’s love when she found Elk and realized what Elktaur had actually done. After this, the Elk chose to give into his hatred of himself and began spreading that hate. Creating the Minotaurs to wage war on humans and centaurs alike. He went after humans first because of the General, but he would have eventually turned his attention to Centaurworld. The Nowhere King may be one of the most compelling and brilliant villains in recent storytelling.

*Although I didn't watched the show, I'll still warn anyone reading this, for potential Spoiler's that I might accidentally shout out, by the amount of insight I have gathered about* This show it's one that perplexes me in such intrigue; not that it's unexpected to find something whimsical in nature, looking like something from the wonderful creators at "The Behemoth" with games such as Castle Crasher, Battleblock Theater, or Pit People conversely' all to then be converted onto a sorrowful, bittersweet tragedy of shameful accidents; but what's interesting it's finding a single song from a show that captivates an imagination of wonder for something else's that could've been. What I mean it's how wondrously curious such name is to me: "The Nowhere King". The only thing I'd initially seen of him was his introduction. And I see this, gasping entity as if born from nothing, freezing what looks like the protagonist as if in a nightmare, yet all feeling as if something to be afraid off after all, he truly had nothing, anything and nowhere.. He embraced his limbo; and onto it still formed itself a rule; and nothing else. And then: I discovered he was something before, someone. A majestic centaur that transformed into a horrific deformity of slothful ichor; rested only and finally, by the one he loved, the one he feared would not love him back for what he'd become; forcing her to then do something, far vile than forgiving him many would say, even if he committed all that perishing across him; she'd force herself and chose to be the one to shun his light out. Emotions feelings, dread fears and, it feels like.. an insult almost. A loss of something much more capable. Not to judge him or the creators or people who love it of course! But, somehow, when I think of such "Title" It just flourishes my mind with a calming "emptiness", a bubble of air holding frigid coldness in a warming grip. I think of an eternally neutral entity, a visage, a fact, something that'll come but something that's already here, "nowhere". A duality, a contrast, not bond with margins of morality, yet not meaning he doesn't act without them. A deformity that tries to form; Fingers of hands of arms, clutching only itself continuously per say. Like a threading dagger, atop one's head, but the dagger's not sharp, it's not dull; it's not there. I don't see it as something evil, but I'd imagine people would see it like that; and that's ok, even if he isn't. And such concept fascinates me that I want to see it somehow come to live.. And this video, with this few, sparse comments, brought me to attempt to express such intrigue. It was something that I wanted to express and cherish up; to produce something even without grasping much, such as without much knowledge, and perhaps, without any logic to it, just a sensation of emotions pushed together, created in a good moment to finally exhale out after holding it on for so long. An anti-villain. "A something" But a something that lingers.. This title intrigues me. I like it I hope you did too.
Creepy song go brrr But seriously, I like your take on this, it's really intriguing to see someone expressing their feelings so vividly, especially in the comments section of a random RUclips video

Surprisingly not creepy without the lyrics
Yeah it's a nice little song until you realize what they are saying
It still has a haunting quality
I think that might have been the point
