- Centaurworld is a cartoon that completly took me by surprise.
I originally wanted to watch something lighthearted before a more serious series.
And yet here we are with a cover of the Nowhere King, which in my opinion has a beautifully grimdark song.
With this cover I wanted to tell a little story. That's why I framed it with two very matching songs, when you take a look at the lyrics respectively.

I think I can't count how many times I have watched all the songs of this show the past few days.
To everyone who loves a musical, dramatical, funny and colorful cartoon that has a heavy undertone I wholeheartedly recommend watching this series!

I love how Horse and Rider's theme chimes in at the end, just to remind us that in the epic strife between the King, the Princess and the General, there's a story of two friends who just want to be together again

This character is how an eldritch horror should be done in a kids show.
Even though I have yet to watch it I still feel dread at his sight.
Yup. Quite much though for small children but let's be honest. The Nowhere King is the best character or at least has the best story arc in the show. At least in my opinion.

I like how you made the visualizer black like the goop
At first I used the standard black background and white font and audio spectrum. But when I've looked at it I just had to reverse it to get the feeling of the show. The white room and black goop is just too important!
Lilly worked with me by designing him this way so we could match the line around the corner to make it look like it comes from him^^.
When you hear the song for the first time your like: oh this is a nice song.
On your second listen: oh sweet lord these lyrics.

I have not seen this show. Yet.
This version of this song that I've heard gives such a sense of finality.
Like the main character, finally, through endless blood sweat and tears, ends up defeating the main villain.
And now, said main character finally gets to die in peace, knowing the world is saved from such an evil.
It's kinda like that. Of course a bit different but the sense of it is about as you've described^^. I would if at least for the arc around the Nowhere King recommend the series.
Rider's Lullabye at the end made me tear up, like it always does.

Honestly Centaurworld isn't my kind of show. But I gotta admit this is fire and the villain is amazing
I can get why that's the case. But yeah everything revolving around the Nowhere King is gold!
To me, this feels like a tragedy. A story of pain, loneliness and suffering. In the end, however, there is a promise of hope, of gentleness. No i'm not crying, you're crying :,)
In the end the villain is tragic because he couldn’t love himself… all of this was preventable if he just communicated his fears and worries to the Princess. She would have loved him as he used to be. In the end the tragic story sets a theme that all of this could have been avoided entirely.

Honestly this video is amazing. The song is beautiful and the addition of rider's lullaby at the end is so good. Also the drawing is hella cool and the sound thing looking like it's coming from him and the black snow falling creates an amazing atmosphere. This video deserves way more likes and views than the ones it has.

I liked the concept of the show, the overall plot, Horse's character, and the songs! Everything else... I was half and half on... but looking forward to a second season to improve those things :)

I do hope they announce the second season soon though. They haven't said anything besides the statement in 2019 that they originally committed to 20 Episodes, which would be a second season than.
I myself pretty much love the show, besides it's overused fart humor xD.... . But I can clearly understand the criticism on the show.
The thing I like most is it's usage of older songs in newer ones as a reflection of the new situation. That is something you only see in musicals or movies, not to this extend, or at all for nearly all I know, in a cartoon show.

This has to be one of my favorite covers so far. I absolutely love the upbeat, almost mystical, elements to the song. It really plays off how eerily calming and almost happy this song can be at times. I think that's why I love this song so much?
Anyway, this def feels like something you'd play at the end of a grand journey. Great job.

The song itself alomg with Fragile things motif at the beginning + the Rider's Lullaby in the end gave me a weird sense of sadness and nostalgia, even i know about centaurworld for less than a year, it still brings a weird heart ache

I feel so bad for the nowhere king, he was pulled apart from his literal other half and resented. Then after some confusing stuff happened between his love and his human half the Nowhere King got stuck in the rift and became what he is now.

This gives me thoughts on another level. It's impossible to not think about this after the video. The first song is very chilly and creepy but at the end .. it just feels as if someone tried to comfort the someone who is singing the song. By the way very outstanding and beautifully done.

Centaurworld maybe looks like a dumb cartoon for children, but when you see it, you will see nice animation, characters that grow on you, decent songs, and moments that will pull your heart strings, the villain will creep you out, and has a message about change being a good thing. I love S1 more then S2 personally.
so I can agree with some fans that centuarworld is kind of underrated.
I know what you mean. Overall I liked the progression of season 1 more, but season 2 has just this awesome final episode with the story of the Nowhere King.

I don't know much of this show, as I've only heard of this song, and that its unexpected from where he comes from such series, but Its fantastic how I'm so yet fascinated by it, that I hope to one day watch it.
Yet when I realized more of it, how he was someone elses before, I sense it as an insult almost. Not for the story departure, creators or fans!
But the title itself, "The Nowhere King" given this context, feels like it's stained almost, Corrupted, something else's.
I see the title as a creation in itself.
I hoped to when I heard such name, to imagine an entity that part of this world like a factor, and yet many not know it.
"A mirage of an existence no one spoke about; more than forgotten." A small quote Of something I was writing. Sorry if it looked as a meanie bossy and boastfully crude thing to do. I just have but this deeply vivid infatuation for such visions in my mind with such name.
I imagine it like an apocalypse that wont bring the end, like danger with no fangs, a kindness with no ill intent; That oddity, that perplexing feeling, that won't even gnaw, stich or force itself on.
Just..Prevailing.
Even seeing this drawing itself it's wondrous as a feeling:
"The nothing is visited by an adventurous child, where the Nowhere's present."
Just imagined an entity that was "there" it existed, it was looming and it was beyond and part of us but had no evil plan of destructions, no harmful intentions, just becoming a visage of something that might've not been anything.
As he's the Nowhere.
This is my second comment on such rendition of this song I did in this short hour.. And I'm ok with it...
The artwork is so freaking intimidating, my gosh! Love the music as well, so beautiful but still with the darker undertones, but just need to comment on the art. Your sister did an epic job!

*SPOILERS*
Honestly if Season 2 ended with a redemption arc over killing Elktaur (not saying it was wrong to end him there, he did do terrible things seperated) I can definitely imagine this being the music to that redemption. Or maybe this piece being his 'good' music, like in an alternate universe! It's wonderful and really captures the backstories sorrows and tragedies, if you hadn't watched the show you'd for sure get the picture that the Nowhere King isn't some two dimensional villain but one with a tragic past with this music score. I love it!

WHY did it take me four replays to connect that intro tune to Fragile Things?? Fragile Things is my favorite song in the WHOLE FRIGGN' SERIES! I'm siitting here like "What is this delicious little melody and why do I love it so much?". 🧐🤦🏼♂

I went for this effect in order to start a bit surprising, slightly unsettling but still very nice and beautiful, a bit darker than before though (therefore paired with a church organ) as part of some forshadowing and build up later on.

No, but you can set it on infinite repeat and set a timer to turn of your pc/ laptop. That is a workaround^^. If more people would ask for it I could make a 1 hour version and upload it unlisted so only the ones with the link can see it.

There are also Glocks, Mongolian Chimes, a Viola, Tubular Bells, a church organ, toms, cymbals, men and women choirs, a kalimba, a music box and a full string ensemble.
