Bravissimo! Perfect! Your tremolo is awesome! Fast, smooth and clear! Wish I can reach this level soon! Just started this piece! Done with the intro! Sound picking is great too! A little « natural » reverb, is it from the YG itself? I always had a high opinion of YG but never had a chance to try one… anyhow, this guitar, this piece and your performance take us to heaven!
I (re)started studying tremolo technic 3 months ago, practicing daily 1 hour or more… i practiced it 20 years ago but widely without metronome… i must admit that after 3 months, there are improvements… how long did it take you to reach a satisfying skill? And at what « cost »?..
@@stephanefourreau846 Well I've played for nearly 40 years and always played tremolo pieces from a very young age. You do need excellent nails and generally they need to be a little longer than you might normally have them... and ultra smooth. Higher tension trebles help too. :) 😀
Neither I know you nor I don't have any idea where are you from, but came across your video with hardly I could recall the title of the song😢 yet it's beautiful.❤️👍
No! Absolutely recorded at the same time, recorded live. I don't ever cheat! The microphones are set further away so that they are not visible in the video.
Excellent performance Julian, not an easy piece to raise to that level and quite fatiguing to play. Your guitar sounds great. I tried a YG for a few days but found it wasn't what I was after unfortunately.
@@julianwardguitar I see. I gotta say, for a double top, and lattice no less, the tonal balance is just right on. Its got that character, mojo, poetry of sound that is one of the crowning achievements of the classical guitar. And nice to hear that piece played so well, i just heard this piece the first time a week ago...its been in my head...
@@lapocasini1246 yes... don't believe the stuff you read about lattice braced and double tops sounding 'odd'.... They sound absolutely superb and have pushed the slightly 'weedy' classical guitar in the right direction. I played fan braced for 35 years... I certainly won't be going back! These Yulong Guo guitars are fantastic.
Beautifully played
YG Chamber Concert is an excellent DT. ❤

Thanks so much. I have added a little reverb yes, the room is very dead so it needs a bit. But the YG almost sounds like it has it built in.

Thanks Peter... Yes we don't all fall for the same things. For me, it was exactly what I was looking for. Playing it is (relatively) effortless.
Beautiful Job! Is this the fan braced or lattice version? (It comes in both)
Thanks so much! Lattice braced, double top - two leaves of Cedar
