I really like your manner of instruction. I can understand exactly what is being done. I have watched other cordists giving instruction and I can't get what they're doing. You are clear, concise, and very easy to copy. Thank you for that. I have learning issues and yet you seem to be able to get thru to me. Again, thank you.
Thank you for your videos. I have been tying paracord for about a year. Actually watching someone tying makes it easier, more fun to tie the more complicated weaves.

Just finished mine with military red in the spine, and explode (yellow/orange) as filler. Ended up looking great! Used just under 13 feet of cord in total for an 8 inch bracelet (6.5 feet of each colour). It was a tight fit, would advise to cut at least 7 feet per colour. I also used a 5/8" gunmetal buckle. The slightly smaller buckle looks quite good with this weave. Cheers for the great tutorial!

Love this weave! I used it to make my puppy a collar, she was always getting her others off to easily! She's quite strong being a Rottweiler & Mastiff breed lol! It works perfectly! Of course I'll have to make a new one once she is full grown 😂

This is one of my favorite bracelets. The key to making the weave look consistent and straight is to keep pulling the cords at the same tension. If you pull one tighter than the one before it (or after it) the bracelet will look lumpy and crooked. It took me a lot more than 6' of each color. I suggest you buy 10" each of your desired colors and don't cut them until the bracelet is complete. My thanx to BoredParacord. Good video!

as im sitting here reading the comments about it not looking like the same weave your doing. when your doing this weave, follow exactly how he explains,but.... when you go to tighten everything up, dont pull as hard as you can.. gently tighten everything up and push it up as your doing every 2/3 weaves. mine turned out exactly how his did. and had anout an inch left ofer..
keep up the vid bud! your pretty much the only reason i started making these.. your directions are very clear and you show every movement yo do.

i'v been practicing with common lace from shoes and jackets, jacket cord is pretty good, its elastic and is a perfect fit for my rist and just slips over my hand tightly, when i get my paracord delivered, i will be making a double dragons tounge, looks freeky!! thanks BP

Your instructions are excellent..THANK YOU...I made the bracelet easily. And it looks GREAT! I love the width. Decided to use all black...and if you didn't see the buckle it could pass for a very pretty almost elegant bracelet

This took me WAY too many tries until I realised how to do it correctly. The key aspect which wasn't really clear to me, is that you don't want any tilt at all to the lower string (the one that goes over/under/under/over) and that you can cinch up on the core strands individually. So my technique was to pull them both through, tighten slightly and then cinch up on the outermost core until none of it was showing. Then tighten the upper strand more to get the correct outermost crossing angle and then REALLY cinch up and tighten on the lower strand to get it all completely vertical. It's the lower one that determines the tightness of it all.

the tip from MrDidaxi to include instructions for using alternatives to buckles, I agree...and I like to use anchor shackles rather than buckles or knots. I would like to see several alternative closure methods. This give us all quite a variety and diversity of skills with which to start/end/fasten our crafted items with. Thank you.
I really like the width of this design.
I just completed one that finished 8-1/4" as in the video. I reversed the colors so the dark bar would be down the center and the lighter color on the outside. Came out very nice. My weave was pretty snug and even end to end but really needed about 7-1/2 feet of "gold" and 6 feet of brown. (Did a hidden splice so I wouldn't have to start over) I also continued the weave and wove the ends through a couple of the back loops to finish so no visible knot and melted ends. Great pattern ! Thanks for the video and the inspiration Shawn. My wrist measure 6-3/4" and the 8-14" feel very good to me, not loose, not tight.

I also meant to say keep up the awesome great work that you do on these bracelets get some people might not like your bracelet but I do cuz it takes a lot of work and a lot of patient to do it just right the first time and I know you practice and practice on these bracelets to get it right the first time which is good the meantime have a blessed day and don't forget I would like to have directions for the paperwork so I can try to do it myself have a blessed day

Thank you for the video, but a few points would make it easier to follow.
1. Colour-code, or otherwise identify the buckle ends and their orientation
2. Don't keep flicking them over and switching ends; it makes it very hard to stay oriented.
3. Try to keep the essential actions in the centre of the frame. The end in particular, was off the top, and/or concealed by the "next video" caption. The middle of the bracelet really wasn't doing anything but take up frame.
Difficult to follow the ending as you were not in centre frame

What kind of paracord are you using for this item? The paracord I have is very difficult to maneuver, cinch up, tighten, etc. Yours looks very soft and pliable and even sort of flat. Mine is 550 military grade, has been pre-shrunk (myself) and is very round. But when I do several stitches, it kind of looks like crap. all bumpy and snaky like. Is that the way it is supposed to look? (a dragon's tongue? I've never seen one before so not sure if this is right...)

I checked out Mr Coops Dragons tongue, its good but yours is far away better. I will be making one in red and black as a dog collar for my doberman. But I will be weaving my ends in as did Mr Coop, I think this time the soloman knot looks untidy. But again I really like this wide version, brilliant many thanks.

Could anyone tell me how to make it so that the brown is in the center?. No matter which way i flip the cow's hitch it still makes the same pattern just flipped top/bottom of bracelet.

I tried making this bracelet following your tutorial but it’s nothing like yours. What am I doing wrong?? You mentioned you “felt” a knot go right but not what it was, is there a method of checking as you go along?

Hi, My son and I just started learning and doing it from your videos....great tutorials!! Just one question, Do you prefer not to use the "Manny Method" for joining cord, if so. Why not?
+Jerry Boothe Im Kinda new to Paracording myself, my opinion is this I prefer to fuse simply because it is faster and simpler. That being said the MAnny method looks a little cleaner.
Which size buckle would also work, 3/8, 1/2, or 5/8?

made my mom a rifle sling afew yrs back, it was like 3ft, and like 120ft green and 120ft black.. when tightening it all up, i recommend either wrapping your fingers with tape or wearing gloves, i rope cut my fingers pretty bad..

Hi there. Thx for sharing. A tip from yours truly: the viewer's perspective calls for close up shooting. It would help one to assimilate better; it adds to the feeling one has when watching this sort of instructive vids. Then again, this is my personal understanding. Finally, a question: you obviously prefer the "buckle" approach. Cool; it is practical; no argue. Still, gives to some of us, "simple knot clasp" fans a break! (LOL). Please, be so kind (if possible) and provide for this specific bracelet the instructions on how to start the project without using a buckle; how to configure the starting point of 4 +2 cords, without a buckle. Thx in advance for your time and regardless if you upload such a supplement video for this bracelet, or not. Cheers. George from Hellas.
You would have to do a Solomon knot at one side of the bracelet and run your working and down the side and the other side to another so long and then you can start braiding.

I had to improve the way you finished the bracelet. (No disrespect). I enjoy the way you explain the technique and it has been very helpful. I laced it all the way to the end where I had to use needle nose for the last couple stitches. Left blue on one side and black on the other. Laced each one thu the top of class to bottom and did a simple pull thru knot on each strand. Did a single weave on backside and fuse together
