That was such a great reaction ❤️. I look forward to them from you. The look on your face was priceless🤣. Ren is unique. I believe he's a visionary when it comes to all facets of music. He embodies it in a way I've never experienced in an artist. A great one to do is Back on 74/Message in a Bottle Retake. (Lyrics are by Jungle and The Police) but with a twist. It's like a roller coaster in a way 😊
Thank you, you bring a different perspective to these reactions, thank you you for being so open & sharing yourself, it is not easy, we see that & appreciate your realness 🫶🏻
Man this is incredible! The talent that this man possesses is truly unlimited. Everything about it was great, I truly appreciate RENs art and I am praying for him stay strong REN🙏
My heart hurts!!😢. My universal energy goes out to him. The world truly needs Ren! I agree with u. Hoping he comes through this and can enjoy and embrace his life. Thank you sir and THANK YOU Ren!
First let me say, his guitar playing is unmatched!! I could literally watch his fingers strum the chords all day!! Amazing!! What a story!! And Nelson, I admire your appreciation for true musical talent... your reactions never fail!!
Im so glad you found the genius that is Ren. Keep taking the deep dive into his music. Check out some of the street performances with his band, the Big Push. Ren is definitely a transitional once in a lifetime artist. I'm more than old enough to be Rens father. I have adult daughters and eight grandchildren. I'm touched by Ren and although I don't know him personally I find myself truly caring and concerned for this young man. I pray Gid brings healing to Ren but it is safe to say that Ren wouldn't be the young man and artist he is today without the struggles he has gone through. Feel better soon Ren.
Great reaction and 💯 Ren is the most profound and talented artist I have ever seen (and I’ve been around a while). His health will improve again hope it’s soon for his sake
A timeless and masterful piece of art ! I loved your analogy between the raw musical expression of prisoners craving freedom and Ren's own raw authentic musical expression. His dad bought him a small guitar as a child. He carried it around with him everywhere, but is self-taught. I think from that young age musical instruments became authentic 'extensions' of himself and his aptitude for musical expression was developed very early in life outside of the constraints of formal lessons or training. Ren's passion is the marriage of music with performance and he shared during interview that he gets more personal fulfillment from videography/cinematography than his music alone. He saw a possible future beyond the music in film-oriented direction and production. It's interesting that we all take so much from his music but that's just one aspect of his passion and talent. Do keep diving, but also react to his new music as it releases - it helps the algorhythm. There's a snowball effect from reactions on a track being highlighted by RUclips, and v.v. That in turn makes more people take notice. The higher a track gets in trending, the more attention it receives from people who otherwise may not see it - and in turn the more people want to see a reaction to it when it grabs their attention. Understanding this is why, as a fully independent artist, Ren never copyright-claims reactions (or clears them if RUclips systems block them/try to demonetize reactions on filing of a challenge). We are all praying for his stabilization and recovery. The world is truly his to flourish and shine in, and he's back largely confined to bed for weeks again. Really can't imagine how frustrating that has to be.
If you haven’t already, watch REN’s 8 chapters of ”REN’s Life Story” found on his RenMakesStuff page. It’s gut wrenching and heartbreaking. To learn about his refusal to let his illnesses win is nothing less than awe-inspiring. You get a glimpse into Rens world. There is a song at the end of each chapter so be sure to stop before the song starts if you plan to react to them.
I was one of those that commented about the subscribe button. Wasn't aware of it being a software issue. Glad you were able to get it figured out. Your content is great!
Imagine you haven't even scratched the surface yet! He is one of a kind. I'm so glad I'm alive to witness the miracle that is Ren. I loved the prison story Nelson, and your reaction at the end was priceless. Thank you. "Animal Flow" is one of my favorites. It's based on George Orwels book Animal farm. Full of symbolism. The pigmask(= greed) that you will see in multiple video's is based on it too. 🙏🏽for Ren ❤
I discovered Ren over a year ago now, and from the first I maintained he was a Once in a Lifetime. I am older now, yet have never heard his like. Others have come close, but the breadth of talent he has in a variety of lyrical, musical, direction and production fields is amazing. All those who label him a once in a generation are selling him short in my view. It is his ability to show his vulnerabilities to the world, goes in part to making him so compelling (as well as his honesty, acting abilities, singing voice, rapping abilities, ability to laugh at himself, musical dexterity, etc......).
I’m rollin with you! But I would be nuts to say he’s the greatest storyteller of all time after only hearing him tell 3 stories so far lol Even so… once in a lifetime talent - yeah I’m rollin
Ren absolutely is a once in a lifetime type of artist. I hope that once he starts to gradually release new songs that will help lift his spirits even a bit. I replied to that twitter or facebook post you mentioned that us fans can wait, but if releasing these songs will help his morale, we wont complain either 😂💜💜
I love that you love street musicians, talented or not😂 Your story triggered a random memory for me... I once lived in NJ, so I visited NYC often to take in some culture & underage drink lol Was at this small Mexican restaurant, sipping on margaritas outside in some garden type seating with the most quaint street lamps in a row along the gate... as I was admiring them, I glance over to a homeless dude doing a bizarre dance ( i say bizarre bc it was quite a "prancy" little number, and he was this massive, stone jawed black dude, pushing 300 pounds lmao) and suddenly he just face plants it on the street 😮 I gasped & I stood up to see if we should go help, when he SPRINGS up, runs to the lamp post near our table, kinda twirling around it & proceeds to sing "I Don't Care Anymore" by Phil Collins. EVERY.F'IN.WORD! Didn't miss a single "No mo, no mo"😆 Even stomped on the pavement for the hard-hitting drum moments😂 A truly memorable performance!🤘 Amazing reaction! I had to sub, of course!🎉
He resonates with Americans just as much as he does with anyone else, because at the end of the day, “we’re all human beings” (Hi Ren 😉) The problem with the US is that since the late 80’s/early 90’s the music industry has become more corporate. They’ve put science behind making money: the record labels know that if you have defined genres of music, then you know which demographic you can sell to and statistically, what kind of revenue you should expect. And to fit in commercials, everything has to be condensed into less than 3 minutes. So, they create and promote their own artists that fit their model. This has led to people’s ears being conditioned to stay in defined genre lanes. How many times have heard American reactors say, “wait, what genre is this?” - because that’s how people have been conditioned to think! In fact, if this ultra honed-in model was applied from the 60’s onwards, a lot of the UK greats of the past like The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, etc (can you imagine Queen’s Bohemian Rhapsody being given the 6 minutes of air time to play on air today?) would never have broken through to the US! This corporate approach to the creative arts has lead to a stagnation in creativity and freedom of artistic expression…and you know that Ren doesn’t fit any of that. And it’s that surprise factor of Ren not fitting any formula which is like a breath of fresh air that resonates.
The release of Sick Boi was SO FUN, he did so much marketing in the most genius ways. Not only does my heart hurt that he's sick again, but I know how much fun these releases CAN be for him when he's feeling well. I'm excited for new music, but heartbroken that one of my favorite humans is suffering so hard.
I cant wait for you to do Genesis from Ren. He has a video and an acoustic version of it, and it's rap. Same for his song Murderer, an official video and an acoustic (among several others) and I love the acoustic. Maybe with both of these, when you get to them, you can do a double, the music video first and then the acoustic! So excited to see this one! Watching now! For the algo!!!! Blessings from Bama!!!!!
He rewound time with his guitar before getting of the bed and then forward on his way back to the hospital. This is all about the characters. His acting and lyrics painting the story into visuals like an old time bard. Generational abuse in three tragic tales . Ren cares about peoples lives and wants us to as well. Well done getting the twist many miss it first time.
I hope Kujo is feeling the backlash of all this.. Keeping it short cause you probably are unaware. This dude Kujo Beats really put a wrench in his plans. Set him back quite a bit and nearly destroyed all he had created with his Sick Boi project. Ren couldn't even enjoy his very first headline festival. With all that, it set him back and here we are back to being bed ridden from lime disease that he can't even bask in the glory that will be the Slaughter House release.. Feel bad man. Much Love. High Praise, feel better Ren 😢❤🙏
Its not a song, but if could recommend a video for you to check out it would be Rens 1 million subscriber video he made. Its very heartfelt and gives you just a bit more of a perspective of what kind of person Ren truly is. I think you would appreciate it. I would love to see your reaction to it too. Great video by the way, it took me some time to finally subscribe to your channel but im glad i did. I look forward to more of your reactions and videos in the future. Off-topic question, do you own the shop you make your videos in? I couldn't help but notice the background in all yours vids and I've been curious so i just had to ask 🤔🤷🏻😌
You think you like him now... check out his 1 million subscriber speech. You'll TRULY understand how much the world needs him right now more than ever.
This was based on some story read in the newspaper.. about a 14 year old being stabbed I believe she was a prostitute there is a lot of knife crime in the UK also ren did not add any lighting for this I wanted it to be authentic apparently a neighbor up above yelled at them to shut up LOL but they kept going
@Never2old2boogie I just watched Ren's song writing tutorial on Jenny's Tale on Patreon. I've heard many different versions of this article. Ren wrote his 1st version of Jenny's Tale when he was 18. I'm really sorry, I apologise, but every time you put that thing in your mouth, I was expecting you to play a kazoo accompaniment, and couldn't help giggling. 😊Apart from that, well done.
REN is such an incredible artist. Once in a lifetime ! Prayers for REN

Loved your reaction- keep them coming along with prayers for Ren and his journey back to health!
Thank you! 🙏
In a field of goats Ren is a Unicorn

He will be 35 yrs old in March.
All us will support him and his releases! He is most definitely on my prayer list!
Sheeeeeeesh the guitar skills!!
I agree Ren is a once in a lifetime artist/musician. Name me another singer who's more versatile & can do it all.

I'm in the US and its ridiculous that he isn't played everywhere! I'm so sick of the music today, so cookie cutter.

Ren is Iconic
He rewound time with his guitar before getting of the bed and then forward on his way back to the hospital.
This is all about the characters. His acting and lyrics painting the story into visuals like an old time bard.
Generational abuse in three tragic tales . Ren cares about peoples lives and wants us to as well. Well done getting the twist many miss it first time.
Thanks for watching! I was completely locked in…. His delivery makes it impossible to not be locked in honestly

We agree!!❤❤
Castles made of sand and Seven Sins from Ren. I promise brother you will not be disappointed.
Looking forward to this one bro 🇬🇧
Hope you enjoyed it!!
❤ this trilogy
His last album debut #1 on the US Hip Hop/RnB chart
Thanks for this. ❤
Loved the reaction, love your support. Newest sub!
Story telling at its finest!!
You have so much more to still see you haven't even scraped the top of it yet.
That’s exciting !!

@Never2old2boogie I just watched Ren's song writing tutorial on Jenny's Tale on Patreon. I've heard many different versions of this article. Ren wrote his 1st version of Jenny's Tale when he was 18. He said the article was about a teen, he believes was 14, that stabbed a woman. That was it. The rest is his imagination. I'm glad I heard it from Ren😊💜
I hope you don't box ran in based on this reaction. Ren has followers all over the world now his music is performing busking with the big push. rap anything you can think of please check out his catalog
Nah I’ll never box anyone in cause I don’t wanna be boxed in! I just think he’s incredible
Word of advice mate DON'T stop rens videos cos he's an independent artist so there's no need and it stops the flow
I told you, the Ren journey is better than all the others lol… wait till you hear the rest… lawd
If you rewind a little, after pausing, you won't miss anything. :)
Feel ya ..in a way Ren is a prisoner of his illness unfortunately so maybe this aligns ..though the talent is through the roof
A cool reactor has shirts that say who the fuck is violet? Because so many people say it 😂❤
Das sind die dümmsten Kommentare von allen React-Videos, die ich zu diesem Lied gesehen habe. Der checkt ja gar nichts! 😂
😂😂😂❤❤❤❤❤
Better if lyrics is turned off, become part of it instead of reading it
I'm really sorry, I apologise, but every time you put that thing in your mouth, I was expecting you to play a kazoo accompaniment, and couldn't help giggling. 😊Apart from that, well done.
@@AnnClark-g3t hahaha ! Thanks for watching
Turn off the CC if you are reacting. better to just listen. Also often lyrics are wrong or give something away to early.
