- Here's the review of the Italian microbrand Venezianico and their watch the Nereide. Which is an NH34 powered GMT watch. This is the first NH34 powered watch I am reviewing on the channel.
I tried using A.I to enhance the audio in this review. So, the question is, is it really that good?

For this video I decided to test out an A.I Speech Enhancement Tool for the audio. So, let me know what you guys think of it.
Good sound quality.
I thought there is something wrong with audio, like it was compress too much or something !?
It sometimes cuts some letters from start of the sentence.
I'm not native English speaker so for me it sounds sometimes speech is incomprehensible.
F.e. 7:52 - Other way around and then ....... ?

James, there is a typo in your title (and description), you wrote Venazianco in both of these, it's Venezianico, sounds Venetsianico (ve-ne-tsia-nico), with a light "ts", tone is at "a'.

The bezel BK7 glass was likely chosen for its good optical clarity and relatively good hardness. It’s commonly used as eyeglass material.

Ciao James. It should be pronounced ve-nets-ya-ni-co, The "ya" should be stressed. "Veneziano" means "Venetian" in Italian, and "meccanico" means "mechanical", so the brand name is a word-play on both these words. "Nereide" is each the nymphs who are the daughters of the sea-god Nereus. So it appears that this watch is a she.

Regarding the audio, I thought either your English accent got stronger or you had a cold. James, I had a hard time understanding you. The watch looks smart, handsome, and sporty.

Always love the outdoor shots and on wrist I was surprised how well it wore with that bracelet and the bezel effect with the light play was definitely unique Quite impressive I'm not too sure about the price with all the competition out there Anyways another fantastic review my friend Thanks for sharing as always 👍

I really like this watch but the name is definitely a tongue twister but I'm digging everything else. Nice presentation box and manual. Good stuff here.

A fantastic looking watch, probably better than the Seiko version, but the only issue that I have is the droop on the bracelet at the lugs.
That is pretty minor though.
I really like this watch (like you, I love the bezel). I already saw a few reviews in french (because I'm french 😁) and if I remember correctly, the price in France is definitely less than 500€. Pretty sure that's less than the Seiko GMT.
Still too expensive for my wallet 😂. But a very interesting watch!

I think that's a really beautiful, well-finished watch! Considering that RRP (where I live at least) for a Seiko SSK (the Seiko 5 Sports with the 4R34) is €470 I don't think it's on the higher end-- I think it's a more than fair price for what they're offering.
The watch is finished better than the aforementioned Seiko and it's designed very well-- I'd pick this over a (way cheaper) Chinese made, NH34 powered "homage" all day every day. Now I've not had the pleasure of ordering one yet, but from what I understand the level of personal care Venezianico tends to offer is second to none and they're definitely on my radar!
They really have done a great job with this. Beautifully designed and very well made too.

It's a handsome watch, no question. Personally I would like a bit less bling, I'm not a huge fan of the polished upper lugs for example and the bezel insert is a litte too reflective too, it's like to be a smudge magnet. But the brand is on a good way.
It certainly is quite blingy... But in a somewhat classy way, if that makes sense?
I just unboxed my newly purchased nereide ceramica. Ordered on Thursday and arrived the following Tuesday. I loved the look of this watch on the manufacturer's website and looked forward to adding it to my collection of dive watches which includes one other micro-brand watch made by Le Jour purchased from Longislandwatch. Unfortunately, I'm disappointed in the quality of the Nereide, particularly when compared to the similarly priced Le Jour which frankly blows it out of the water. The bracelet is thin and feels cheap and the overall look and feel of the watch is efinitely down market. It compares to a Seiko in the $500 to $600 range. I wouldn't buy from them again.
I love the bezel. It really is the star of the show.
The bracelet is very nice. It's not a female but oh well. Butterfly is fine. Looks really good.

Dam butterfly bracelet, I can never get them to fit properly otherwise not a bad watch but should have a bi directional bezel.

I know what you mean, they aren't my favourite either. But thankfully I managed to get a good fit on this one.
You really need to just invest in a better mic and project your voice more. You talk like someones sleeping in the next room. Try this, watch Jody videos for a few seconds then watch your own, listen to the difference in audio. The A.I isn't helping, better mic, louder voice, that's it.

Thanks for the feedback. That's because a lot of the time, someone actually is. You're right though, I do need to invest in a better mic. I am quite softly spoken as well, which doesn't help.
