2 thumbs down? HAH! Kids.... Picked up a case of Substance and some Lux yesterday. 7 hours round trip. It will ALWAYS be worth the drive. Love me some Bissell!
This Reminds me of Mike Crete and Stuart Buley. Making California Cooler, a wine cooler in the early 80s. I helped them grow for 5 years and then they sold. Bartles and James (Gallo) kind of took over and still make such today. I can tell you all how the saturation of CO2 does well at a lower temperature for high speed processes. ;-)
Waiting on some more episodes emoticon smile with a thumbs up. I'm a homebrewer from NH, if interested I have 2 brew days coming up. Sept. 30th I'll be bottling a pale ale I created brewed with honey crisp apples I dubbed Apple Saucer and will be brewing a Christmas beer i threw together....I call it Elf Sweat. Also a collaboration between a local homebrew shop and I should be done conditioning. it's a smoked porter with ghost peppers added. I call it Ghost Smoked Porter. The other will be a Halloween costume party on the 29th of October. I plan to brew a barley wine I put together and named Raisin Kane. No cameras needed, just enjoy and cheers.
+drykill8 Thanks for the comment! We're editing our latest episode now which will feature Allagash Brewing! Thanks for the invite to your brew days. Shoot us an email with some more details - local-brew.tv/contact-us/
Hey guys - just came across you guys and love what you're doing. if you haven't seen our stuff check us out! We might be Boston bound middle of next year, if so we should totally make a film together!
Hey Matt, we are sitting with your Mom-in-law watching you! She has nothing but awesome things to say. Can't wait to meet you - Sterling, Dana (Don's brother) - Don and Anne (they already know you).LOL.
I can't believe that Lithuania is mentioned in this video, the Lithuanian sausages that is :D I hope you get to try Lithuanian beer some day, because beer is a very big deal in my country. Cheers! :)
You should think about a visit to Sanford, Maine someday. Mill 67 in the renovated mill building on Washington Street serves fantastic food and has quite a few Maine (and other) craft beers on tap in a great atmosphere!
I'm really enjoying the show, you are definitely selling the Maine brewing scene to me. Also the editing, the graphics, the presenting are all so professional.
localbrewtv ,,,,, From Australia, THANKYOU!! These videos are GOLD!!!! I know how much work and money goes into making these videos and I greatly appreciate you putting in the effort into getting these videos onto youtube for our viewing! I am a beer lover from Sydney Australia, and I love nothing more than to sit down to a nice cold beer on a Saturday night and watch your latest episode! I love how real it is, how local, and to see real people, making fantastic beer and food. There is nothing special about large, mass produced beer. What's special is small, family run/owned breweries/bars and restaurants. Keep it up mate! Cheers! Would love to visit your part of there world one day!
Joshua Southwell Thanks for your support! We're excited that you like our show! We're going to be releasing a new episode very soon, featuring Allagash Brewing Company. If you ever get the chance to visit New England you definitely shoot! We have lots of awesome craft beer in these parts. Cheers!
I've Lived in Portland for the past 6 years and the Thirsty Pig was the first place I started to go regularly, Noah is the one that kept me coming back. I still can't believe what has happened over the past few years. I had moved to Biddeford for a few months, then while talking to a gentleman from New York at The Great Lost Bear I found out that Noah had started a brewery with his brother and was totally blown away. It is incredible that you can do when you know what you want. Excellent video. Brings back both good memories and the bad ones.
Jack Ferriter Glad you like what we're doing! We've been in talks with Oxbow so that might happen in the future. Look for our next episode featuring Allagash Brewing very soon! Cheers.
I don't know if you've seen the newest Trailer Park Boys season, but Bubbles starts a little brewery in the park and it's called Green Bastard Brewery, and his delivery truck is the little green bastard truck. I don't think they have anything to do with one another but it's a really goofy connection.
i love this beer show. I'm a homebrewer trying to perfect my own recipe with dreams of starting a brewery. This show is great to see small brewery setups, processes as well as inspirational success stories. Thanks for the videos. This should be on tv!
Awesome! So excited to hear you found inspiration from watching out show. You'll find your perfect brew recipe at some point, and when you do, make sure to share some of your beers with us! Thanks for your support!
Macnutz420 True words my friend. Unfortunately this job only pays in behind the scenes access to breweries and occasionally free beer. Working on making it my job though! Really appreciate your support!
localbrewtv I believe you are in it at a very good time. Things are growing, the craft market is changing and growing. A great time to find a place in both the craft brew world and in 420 related businesses. The explosion of craft beer interest is still growing, I don't expect it to wane for a while yet. If I were a young guy right now, I think I would be set on becoming a brewer. A job I never had interest in when commercial mass production beers were all that was available. I cook a lot. Brewing is a particular kind of cooking and preparation of grains and other sugars, using different yeasts than used in bread. I am making some hard cider with bakers yeast just to see the result. I am told it will be cloudy. This is a good time to find your place in the industry.
Right on man! Thanks for the advice. We've been doing this for 6 years now. I guess we got started at the right time! Looking forward to producing more episodes, so stay tuned. Cheers!
localbrewtv Yeah, thanks for doing these, I really enjoy watching them! Do you have plans for hitting up an Oregon brewery in an upcoming episode? Bend is a pretty happening area right now for craft beer (well of course Portland too), and is a pretty awesome town to visit. You know, in case you needed any leads ;)
Darin Mohr We would love to visit the West coast and check out that beer scene but we produce this show mainly for fun on a very low budget. Also we have 60+ licensed breweries in Maine alone, so we have plenty of place to visit! Cheers!
Hands down, this is the best beer show on RUclips!
Thanks Jim! We really appreciate your comment! Thanks for watching.
2800 breweries is nothing compared to now! 😂😂😂
2 thumbs down? HAH! Kids.... Picked up a case of Substance and some Lux yesterday. 7 hours round trip. It will ALWAYS be worth the drive. Love me some Bissell!
Jake We can't please everyone. Glad you made the trip up for some Bissell goodness! Thanks for watching!

There were a few more than two :) We just didn't have time to put them all in this episode. Thanks for watching!

"You know what, that sausage just tastes so good in my mouth" Love it - keep up the good work you legend!
God sakes. He's wearing a Three Penny Taproom Tee ! I love that here.
I'm really enjoying the show, you are definitely selling the Maine brewing scene to me. Also the editing, the graphics, the presenting are all so professional.

Hey cool episode. What particular canning line is that? I'm interested. Thanks!
+ZwienerZ We're not sure what canning line they use. You could shoot them an email or tweet and they'll probably respond.

I was born and raised in Maine and my brother bought me a Bissel Bro's Swish for my 21st birthday. Bissel Bro's beer means a lot to me.
Right on Brian! We love it too. Thanks for watching.
Holy shit their beer is incredible.
the little green bastard truck, hah
We think it's appropriately named! Thanks for watching.

You have a hell of a job man. Visiting all these great breweries. A job you love is called serious winnage. The kind you never grow weary of.
Macnutz420 True words my friend. Unfortunately this job only pays in behind the scenes access to breweries and occasionally free beer. Working on making it my job though! Really appreciate your support!

Thanks for updating the "leading the way states" to include Oregon :)
Haha, glad someone noticed! When we started this show 3 years ago, Oregon wasn't as widely recognized but it sure is now! Thanks for watching!
localbrewtv
Yeah, thanks for doing these, I really enjoy watching them! Do you have plans for hitting up an Oregon brewery in an upcoming episode? Fair enough. Yeah I see now that all your shows are done in Maine. Cheers!!
You forgot California in your list of craft brew leading states
At least something about Poland. ;) U should visit our brewers! ;)
We would love to, someday!
