I still love that video, I just think he looks so much better with his new textures. And I thought it was time to do a remake of that video, since I made it over a year ago.

Okay a httyd VR game concept for anyone who would like to make a fan game that takes place before httyd 1:
You can edit your avatars features like hair face all that
For the dragons well its taking place before so I'd say you would meet a randomly generated dragon species while running to safety, there is 4 bonding levels with unique abilities and stat boosts.your dragon is a living creature so you will have to hunt for food or fish for it to survive you can craft saddles but more on that later
Character abilities and protection
Your character will get to choose between a few weapons:battle axe, sword, and a hammer
Your character can craft saddles by finding recipes around the various islands on the map, you can also craft armour or you guessed it flight suits.your flight suit can be customised like helmet shape and blah blah blah you can basically change the shape and look of each armour piece. The first armour/flight suit you can unlock is kind of like the one from rtte but with extra protection like gauntlets and knee pads + chest plate. The best armour you can craft is kind of like the httyd3 ones but themed around your Dragon and you can pick how the glider/wings work.
Dragon species
Common (starter)
Nadder and gronckle
Uncommon
monstrous nightmare and speed stinger (rest is your choice
Rare
Skrill, flightmare shock jaw and speed stinger
Ultra rare
Light fury (more than night furys) the rest is your choice
Legendary
Night Fury (the rest is your choice
Small chance variants
Night fury(fin missing) bio luminescent pink flightmare and the alpha speed stinger
Titans
Tinan version of every dragon type except light and night fury
Combat
Since this is probably a VR game combat will be advanced like for instance your weapon can be knocked out of your hand forcing you to use your fists, your amour has to be fixed after a battle if you get hit
Skills
You can unlock moves in a skill tree that's different for each weapon blah blah blah I'm bored now so feel free to do whatever if you do end up making this
The bad thing about this is when the video ends :(
Ah also, im having a go at doing some Retexturing to the model, adding a bit more detail, if there’s anyway to contact and show you the changes made, if you like them I’d be more than happy to send the files over

I’m not sure I want my model in a game. The character is copyrighted by Dreamworks, so I don’t know if that will be a problem or not…

Hey, I've ran into a problem with the model, and I don't know how to fix it. The problem is every time I try to append the model the eyes are a glass forest instead of the green and pupil being there. Any idea what's causing this and how to stop it? T-T
You’ll need to turn on screenspace reflections in the render settings. That’ll fix the glass eyes 👍

Well, when I'm animating I'm usually in solid view. If I want to see his eyes, though, I'll go into shaded view and unplug his normal and cavity maps to make the fps faster.
