    Im impressed by people able to paint background plate like that, using 2D element even real footage and HDRI for the Sky in 3D compositing is always the key to control highly detail scene, since we have PBR texture with normal map and roughness we can light 2.5D element, it's a good way to not over complicate layout , in stereoscopie it's a bit more tricky to sell flat element but thanks to normal map and depht map it's not impossible. If the object are far away and not in close-up shot.

    • @lewisanimation
      @lewisanimation  Год назад

      The best thing I can recommend is keep doing small projects each of which focuses on learning a new part of 3D each time and over time your skillset develops and you can start to combine them into bigger scenes like this. Also, to create large scenes on your own, you won't be able to make every single part of it, so you'll need to build up an asset library of textures, models, skies/background photos, and things like mixamo. There's a lot of tutorials and support online for Blender and other than that it just takes practice and consistency over time :)

    I think every video like this should start by presenting the rig that been used, but seriously bro you did a phenomenal job there, congrats.

    Well deserved. This piece of art is massive. I am a small filmmaker and my focus is films, so unfortunately I haven't had the time to dive deep into blender. I am pretty good at blender I would say but not as advanced as you. I hope to see more beautiful renders from you

      Thank you so much! Blender has become super powerful in recent years and nothing compares to the amount of online support there is so I'd 100% recommend it as something to keep going at. Thank you for your comment, there's plenty more animations on the way! And best of luck with your filmmaking! :)
