The University of the Philippines Madrigal Singers is one of the most awarded choral groups in the world, having won all the top prizes in most of the world’s prestigious choral competitions, including the Grand Prix in the 2016 Concurso Internazionale di Guido d’ Arezzo in Arezzo, Italy. They are the first choir in the world to win the prestigious European Grand Prix for Choral Singing twice (1997 and 2007) and the first Asian choir to be accorded the BrandLaureate Premiere Award by the Asia Pacific Brands Foundation (2012). Founded in 1963 by National Artist for Music, Professor Andrea O. Veneracion, the UP Madrigal Singers, now under designated successor Mark Anthony Carpio, demonstrate that choral music can be socially relevant and transformational every day. This group is older 1 year than me, I was born 1964 and am now proud 60 yrs old and no maintenance thank you Lord.😂✌️✌️✌️
This Madrigal singers already performed in many parts of the world .anyway , would like to thank you again Gabriel for doing such a great job...we love you.
U can also check the USTAction Singers, Choro Concertino, Philippine Male Chorale UP Concert Chorus, Ateneo Glee Club, University of The East Chorale and others from the Philippines
Thank you for watching and making a reaction video. I was one of the few who first watched it. This is my first time seeing a reaction video of it. I watch this many times. It was something else. PURE voice. The original song was pretty fast in beat, composed by Maestro Ryan Cayabyab. Dude. I was blessed to see watch them live. A free Christmas concert in a mall here in the Philippines. Even though it was pandemic and they have plastic mask on their faces, probably in 2021-2022, they sound better live. That first guy was, I believe, a bass like me. One of them was a cousin girl of my former choir member. You are blessed to see this.
Thank you for your continued appreciation of Filipino artists❤. The Philippine Madrigal Singers truly delivers very powerful voices in their performances. Among my favorites are: performance of the song Eres Tu in Uruguay; then there is a very touching song for the Christmas song, it is in Filupino, title is ' Sa Ganitong Panahon Din'; look also for their rendition of 'The Light of a Million Mornings; and their rendtion of 'The Circle of Life'
Paraiso and sang by the Madrigal Singers gives me a glimpse of what the heavenly choir would sound like. Heaven is known to worship through singing as well
Paraiso, an original by Smokey Mountain and composed by National Artist Mr. Ryan Cayabyab, to which they were the grand champion in the Tokyo Music Festival way back in the 90s...
Its a world renowned A cappella group. Have watched supposedly the very first batch of the 'Madriga'l singers during their world tours in the late 70s when I was kid. They pick and train creme of the crop singers into perfection.
Kudos to this vlogger! He really fully understands his subjects! Has never heard him utter biased comments about artists (singers) and their music. Besides, his pleasant personality on cam radiates as he makes comments over his contents.
"Paraiso " in Pilipino (Tagalog) means "Paradise".... the name given to a resettlement area / informal settlers in the Philippines. It is a place for the under-privileged materially but it is also a place loved, treasured by the composer.... where the memories of the place makes the composer joyful and emotional.
I love this song originally composed by Ryan Cayabyab,a national artist and originally sung by the Smokey Mountain, the lyrocs of their song os very powerful and meaningful
Now i remember why mostly Philippines sings like dz b'coz as we grow up i 1st heard songs dt song like dz is in d church b'coz d sounds of d wall of every church bounced back in r ear as d Angels r d 1 singing w/ us.& We mostly gone 2 church.& I remember when i was in my 5 years of age d hits instrumental songs was Summer songs of a band in 1960.like dz its so solemn as if r souls was going up. to d heaven Godbless us ol .
This indeed very heavenly, beautiful song by Maestro Ryan Cayabyab and excellent choral arrangement of Sir Christopher Borela. But if you're going to focus on the lyrics, this song is a call or message for us to make a stand and save our paradise, the nature, the earth. To care for our people especially those who are in need. This is an appeal for responsibility because we only have one Earth and it is beautiful but it is dying.
Well the Philippine Madrigal Singers is known to be the greatest masters of all choirs on the planet. No choral groups in the world would ever dare to compete with them.

Paraiso is the Filipino word for Paradise
Title of the song is Paraiso ( Paradise )
