Love the cathedral! I agree with you about shorter veils creating an interruption. I really disliked that when I tried the finger tip length and the waltz it felt like an abrupt stop.

This is one of the MOST helpful videos ever! So hard to visualize and love how you broke down the options!

Thanks for posting! Since I am short 5'2" I went with a finger tip veil because the long one overwhelmed me. I'm also a street size 4-6 so this didn't help. I originally really wanted a cathedral veil to bring the drama but it just wasn't a good look on me

The interruption point really explains why the fingertip length veil I purchased just doesn’t feel right to me. I’m going back to try out cathedrals again!

When my mother got married to my dad she had a short veil hers had pearls in it. When I get married in the future I’m going to choose a cathedral length veil mine will have pearls in it

Love your videos! Thank you so much for educating us.
I have bought a 3D floral mermaid gown with chapel length. I will have the wedding ceremony at a chapel. Should I go for hard or soft veil? Thanking you in advance for your suggestion and recommendation…

I am 5’4 and a bit overweight for an hourglass, leaning towards a pear shape. Will a short veil that ends above the belly button balance out my proportions if I were to wear a long sleeved mermaid dress?

I think it will look great! You'd definitely need to give it a try and see what you think!

I am getting married next year. I want a cathedral veil, but I don’t want to cover the bow in the back of my dress 😩

Go with a long cathedral veil with no detail - it will add more drama and not distract from the bow.
