When I saw Moog's face as 2WISTD hit the wall, and he realized he lost, my stomach sank. My heart skipped a beat. Even though I was cheering for 2SEXY, I couldn't bear the thought of either one of you losing.

Likewise in my end. Both cars are awesome and if 2wisted did not have those ridiculous wheels, decals and interior to me It actualy looks nice
It was meant to be this way. All the other challenges were BS. Every knew, including them, that the race around the track would end with 2Sexy winning. That is why it was 2 laps so that they could make it look like 2WISTD had a chance. Marty was holding way back in lap 1. In the 2nd lap he was on a bit harder and keeping decently lines but a few more times around and he would have lapped him. Rigged fight, but good to watch anyways.

Took 6 years but somethings take time!
Wasn't the Turd crushed due to the unfeasibility of owning it? They initially made it seem like Martin was going to go to a Figaro but he ended up in a 2nd generation Subaru Legacy wagon (that got turned into Gramps, which then subsequently took a huge bath and is now a part of the 4th generation Legacy we now know as Supergramps).
I'm not sure what's going to happen next. I don't think he'd give his mate another car since Moog already has an RB26 S30Z and Martin is getting his March Super Turbo shipped from Japan after the TNT2 film.
I feel like Marty won't crush it... Maybe moog will get a new car that he builds or they'll just focus on the cars they already have for awhile

I think that while 2Sexy won in the end, the fact that either of them are willing to crush a car like it never meant anything to the other is abhorrent to me. As a car guy the idea of a car with time put into it or in general a car someone likes or even loves just being heartlessly crushed goes against everything that makes me a car guy. I love cars and the fact that either of them is willing to crush either car just doesn't sit right. You could at least sell the losers, crushing a car is extreme. I wish I could look past this fact and enjoy the episode but to be blunt I cant. I hope 2wistd wasn't crushed and only sold, but only time will tell.

I can relate. The year was 2002 I blew the motor in my 1982 Gemini and finally got it towed away never to be seen again. I wanted to keep it and rebuild the motor in it but my other half wanted me to get rid of it and buy a newer car. I cried as i watched the tow truck drive away with it. Had some great times in that car.

I don't understand why people are so mad about one scripted episode. All the movies you see are scripted and you don't get crazy because of that. And I rather watch this and have a laugh than watching a car stereo install for the 9 millionth time. What if a gutted lancer - probably without the parts that is usable and worth anything - getting crushed? The world's not gonna collapse. And also note that they are still free to watch, they took their time and effort to make this show for us. I had a great time watching this and big thanks for you Marty and Moog.

Rewatching this video made me glad not a single car was crushed. The underdog 2sexy became one of my favorite cars in the mcm garage and 2wstd had soo much work and love, it would of been a shame to see either car crushed.

Marty's hood was open the entire race and it brought my blood pressure up
I remember my front turbo wheel drive that had a locked diff, I was actually surprised when welding the diff only half ruined the handling. Good old 2000's!

It's known to be more dangerous to drive a roll caged car than a not roll caged car if you are not wearing a helmet, which you aren't likely to do on the street.
Also, bolt in cages don't really do much.
