I saw Davy's car at his flat in Belfast when I had my photo taken with him which was on the front page of the Telegraph. He gave me a photo of Jack Doyle and himself as well. Still have the newspaper. Maybe someone from Lisburn will see this video and my post and remember the newspaper or the photo of him with me that was above the bar for many years, the Crows Nest pub I think it was called, from 1968
My Dad … Stanley Hewitt Cars in zLisburn supplied Davy his car. I got to drive it and because I was only 5 at the time, Dad used me as the template when doing the alterations to Pedal lengths for Davy 😢
Yes my parents have told me that too. They seen him do it. My mum was in hospital with his wife, they both had babies same week and he was lifted in through the window to see his wife and son
